I am stuck on a quest that is pissing me off. I only really get a chance to play in the mornings on the weekend. So I'm hoping that I dont decide to quit bothering with my time Saturday gets here.
Which quest?

I found Kingdom Come to be one of the best games I've ever played for organically making my own stories. A mate of mine was playing at the same time, and I remember us exchanging stories about how - for example - I just had to walk through the forest to deliver a message to somebody in the next village, but then I got sidetracked by picking herbs and it got dark, I had not brought any food and the only calories I had to consume were in the form of red wine, so I got drunk and then I was stumbling around in the dark woods, I ran into a couple of bandits making camp and when I was running away from them, in the dark, while drunk, I fell down a little gully and broke my leg and bled out.

And all I was originally doing was walking along a trail through the woods on a sunny afternoon, to go see someone in the next village. But it turned into a while unscripted adventure. I really liked that aspect of the game. :thumbsup

Investigating the murder of a bunch of horses and people. I talked to the witnesses, but I'm looking for the evidence of where they went, and i can't find it. I know it is there

Oh, that's a good one! I take it you don't want a hint, or else you would have gone to youtube. You're right though - just walk around the farm, keep your eyes open, and think about what a real detective would want to determine. :thumbsup

That's still kind of the tutorial. The full game opens up right after that mission.

KCD is one of the best games I've played in years. It has plenty of faults, but it is just insanely good. Overflowing with stuff to do and a real living world to explore.

A few things....

Got a quest 2, as an old ddr head beat saber is fucking rad. Haven't tried any steam vr games yet, but I did get the stupid expensive link cable since it's future proof as far as data transfer speeds and will charge the unit while you play.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is awesome. It took me a while to get used to how unwieldy everything seems and I DID download the aiming curser for bows cause that shit is just stupid without but I'm having a great time with it.

I really need to get around to playing my PS4 more. I've had God of War, Spiderman, and FF 7 remake just collecting dust since I got them.

Oh yeah, Wasteland 3 and Crusader Kings 3 are also a fucking blast. Haven't been able to play them much cause life is always getting in the way of my video games, but they few hours I've invested have been a lot of fun.

We're gonna get a vaccine before this game is released
That's fine. They are not making throwaway 8 hour experiences. I'd rather they take another year and polish it and make everything work together well, than just rush it out the door. Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines was released basically half finished and barely even working. It bombed financially, but people are still playing it 16 years later. I'd much rather it had been released in 2005 finished, polished and complete, rather than as a sort-of working, unfinished product.

I need to investigate Crusader Kings. Seems like it would be exactly my shit. But it's so intimidating, and I have plenty to play right now anyway. I've got it on my Steam wishlist.

Picked up a couple of old games in the Steam sale. Arkham City, and Tomb Raider for the missus. Pretty happy, for $8.

There's definitely a learning curve but the context menus are really good and there are some really good tutorial vids on youtube. The cool thing about CK 3 is that even if you're fucking up left and right there's a ton of potential for funny shit since so much of the game is randomly generated.

I played Arkham City a bit on an old flatmates' PS years ago. I really appreciate the fighting and how much like Batman you feel, but I get frustrated because every time I destroy six guys in a room, I want to loot all their corpses and search the room for hidden loot. But I can't do that. :fire

Have you guys been playing any multiplayer shooters? Any overwatch fans here, or team fortress 2 fans?

I really like twitchy, hero based/class based shooters. Overwatch has 32 heroes, lots of choices there. Looking forward to Overwatch 2.
