@DynamicMoves
Nah this is my first venture into the series.
Yeag games can be super cheap especially on Cdkeys
I only recently woke up to cdkeys, almost every single Xbox game is cheaper on there than in the official store, which makes no sense.

I'm a big fan of digital versions of games which stay registered to your account but one thing which irks me is that all of the logistics and packaging cost saving are not being passed to the consumer. In most instances it's actually cheaper to buy the game in hard copy.

I see no reason why all of the main systems out there can't work out some kind of tie-in with Microsoft for integration into their Xbox ecosystem, linking your steam, GOG, Ubisoft, etc accounts so it loads all of your library into one place and handles the loading. Unless it does do that already.

Don’t want to shit on your parade but i felt FC5 was pretty bland although it was quite quirky “cheeeeeeseburger” you will understand in time.
it was the first FC i picked up since FC2 which i loved.
the speed at which they seem to release them now makes me think they could take more time and give it more depth.
I hope you enjoy it more than me
Yeah far cry 5 is a really shallow game once you get past the experience. Like most Ubisoft these days.

I'm fine with that. I know what Far Cry games are, and I haven't played one for four or five years. I'm not expecting the Witcher. I'm happy running around a nice little sandbox collecting pointless things and setting up ridiculous ambushes of faceless, infinitely respawning anonymous goons. :thumbsup

Do you have to pay for switch online? I still use my wii u for mario kart but wondering about a switch and playing Zelda again
Yes, $5 a month (I think).
Get access to a bunch of their older games.
Nintendo's online is pretty garbage though, I'd guess because they only have to worry about latency on a small island, as opposed to say VA to CA. I'd suggest a usb to ethernet adapter. I use one for Smash.

Should have mentioned that Far Cry 5 was 80% off for the Gold Edition. There's a reason this half-assed Dutchman is installing it in December '20 instead of March '18.:thumbsup

I've been playing this Quest 2 for the past week... Thrill of the Fight, Superhot, Beat Sabre and The Climb have been ace so far.

I had Superhot on the Xbox as a free download and hadn't thought much of it but in VR it blows you away. Just a whole new experience in videogames.

Yeah I was heavily against Superhot just because the art style really doesn't click with me. But my friend made me play it on his Oculus, and it was gripping. A unique gameplay experience, and fun as hell. I loved punching an enemy in the face and grabbing his gun out of midair as he dropped it.

The mechanic of only moving when you move works really well too. You can really get your Neo on.

Yeah exactly, the creativity you can use to take out all the bad guys is endless too. If you're unarmed, you can stand behind a corner and let someone rush at you, take the gun out of his hand, shoot him in the head and take out everyone else with the same gun.

At one point I was stood right up in front of a guy and because I was motionless, I could just stand there looking at this full height character in front of me. It was bizarre.

I wasn't fully sold that the Quest would be something I'd use very often but it's been a real game changer and very very cheap for all that you get for the price. Just a ton of experiences you can only really get in VR. Like floating around the ISS and then going for a spacewalk outside of it .... for free!!!

I was in another app earlier called Big Screen where you can watch 3D movies in a cinema while real people are stood/sat around in the form of customisable avatars and I sat there and chatted to some dude in Hawaii in the lobby for about 20 minutes. Amazingly everyone seems much more polite than on regular internet too. There's a bunch of little kids being annoying (more so in Venues than in Big Screen) but you can just mute 'em.

I've played a few of the board games based on video games, generally not a fan.
I have yet to try Gloomhaven and the Gloomhaven video game based on it.
