Interesting that Fish Eyes said the broadcaster for the Fury show is to be announced next week, so there's at least a chance it won't be regular BT/BN. Surely it won't be PPV? Then again he's talking about "world tidal fights" being on the show already so looks like it could well be.

Imagine if next week comes along and the presser drops and you open the video and it's Frank sat up there with Fat Mick and the YouTube guy.

I think it has a good chance of being box nation ppv or they would of announced it as being on BT today I'm sure.

Typical amateur hour Frank today

Why not just wait until everything is in place and announce it all together? It’d generate far more hype than having staggered announcements. More people are likely to buy tickets out of impulse the bigger the announcement is.

It just seems like basic common sense really.

BT were retweeting all the Fury content today though - got to be BT PPV.

BT aren't going to be happy with Warren if they're not involved in Tyson Fury, what's the point of the link up with Frank if they can't have his biggest star on their network. It's like Fox Sports in the US not having Conor McGregor on their channel as part of their UFC TV output deal.

Conlan headlining is fine.

get Jamie Conlan on the bill in a decent domestic bout (Ryan Farrag would be a belter), Paddy Barnes in a step up, and a couple of good trade fights would be good

Yeah BT you would think it would be involved in someway but it looks like some kind of ppv or it would just be announced today imo.

I don’t want to be that guy - actually I do or I wouldn’t be writing this bollocks - but Fox don’t have Conor McGregor on their channel as part of their ‘UFC on Fox’ output deal...McGregor is on the main PPV cards.

Yours sincerely
A. Pedantic cunt.

Fury in a PPV in his comeback fight will bomb in my opinion. Warren must have finally cracked if he thinks that's a good idea.
what makes you say that - his numbers and coverage has been big - both anthony joshua and eddie hearns gave interviews to ifltv this week and put together they didn't achieve the numbers of viewership as tyson did -

I think any Fury fight is a certainty to be BoxNation PPV/BoxNation subscription only, even though it'd make more sense to have any of his comeback fights on BT Sport, at least until he's facing a top fighter.

We live on the post Eubank-Jnr-Quinlen days sadly it might not do that well but they must think it will make more money then what normal BT would offer.

Except maybe a better reaction from the main stream media ie ITV who wanted to not make it about boxing sadly.I think with more details it would of gone down better with boxing fans also.

I remember in one of those great hour long interviews with IFL on Dusseldorf fight week Tyson rallied against PPV - Wlad, Joshua, Povetkin, Wilder where PPV fights 'top fights only' and now it's looking like Gary Cornish could well be a PPV headliner. I'd be nice to think they're not just bleeding us, Cornish on free to air to get hype and the start of the comeback - then Charr, Price or Briggs as weak as shit PPV but at least you could understand it.

The Hearn masterplan of Bellew, Whyte, AJ would all have been PPV but at you could justify those - you'd like to have thought Cornish would have been a DeGreco style standard sky sports night before the biggies as well.

Yeah agree with that, his first fignt back being a ppv would be a shocker and as much as I want to see his come back I don't want to pay out any extra money unless it was a fight of interest.
