The bear as Donald"d Blond streak and is roughly Twenty inches in height. I phoned a friend of mine in Los Angeles and she says she as one and they are great gifts to send to your Democrat friends. After searching for a while , I have bought one for my Great- Grandson who, God willing is due early January. Regards Mervyn The Gee

Just got off the phone after speaking to a mate in Wales. I mentioned the discussion about Pogba, and he then said he would not be able to tie George Best"s boots up, .I then looked up Best"s playing record . He was born on22/5 1946 in Northern Ireland. He joined MU in 1963 and left at the age of 27yrs . He played 465games for MU and scored 180 goals. During this spell MU won their First Euro Cup and Best named Euro player of the year. He also won Two Chamionships .. After leaving he played for numerous clubs and retired in 1985 , he played 218 games and scored 66 goals during this period. After this his life went rapidly down hill, he frequented a pub in the Chelsea area, and inevitably collapsed on to the floor completely out of his box. He eventually was admitted to hospital in London for a Liver Transplant, after a short while he was back on the booze and died in Hospital 25/11/05. He received a large . . amount of jusifiable criticism over the transplant. But was a truly amazing player. When MU won their first Euro in 1968 they held their reception in a hotel in London, myself and a colleague spent an hour at the reception and George and Bobby Charlton could not stop laughing. Outside MU"s ground is a Bronze statue of this footballer. Regards Mervyn The Gee

I have just watched the incident on sport TV of the "Moron: at last night match btwn Arsenal and Spurs. throwing abottle and hitting a Spurs player on the head. What to my mind made it worse, the section of the crowd where the bottle came from were actually cheering and making gestures at the player, and the majority of the "Idiots "were middle-aged. My son , who is an Arsenal season ticket holder was at the match. He as not lead a sheltered life, but he was so disgusted at the language and anti- semitic chants , that he left. Iwould add that he had my Ten year old Grandson with him. I remember in the early sixties the moronic behaviour of fans , literally hundreds of Police on Kings Cross and Euston Stations trying to control the fighting, I thought this had gone forever. I am a Rugby Union supporter, I have been all over the World supporting Wales and The British Lions and I have never experienced any aggro, even though I was usually covered in my red/white scarf and shirt

When I joined the Forum in 2017 I wrote about the One and Only Jimmy Wilde., 149-3-1, 99 by K/O. Nat Fleischer, Ring Magazine, reckoned he was the greatest Flyweight ever. His weight was around 7St 8 pds, and he fought men three or more stone heavier than him and beat them. He was born in 1892 and died in 1969 after being mugged at a railway station in Wales. He was one of the many boxers who died penniless. Could he have beaten Hamed, is the Pope a Catholic? without a shadow of a doubt. Regards Mervyn The Gee

Of course your stock can decrease after delivering a one punch K/O., depends who you are fighting. I don"t think Wider and AJ have to worry too much about the above mentioned.Regards Mervyn The Gee

Yes Mervyn. He stopped Little on his feet at the end of the 4th round. Most felt it was a premature stoppage, especially Little himself.
I watched that fight yesterday mate. What did YOU think?? There was a bit of a debate between Paulie Malinaggoi, who thought it premature, and Johnny Nelson, who didn't. It looked like Carl Froch was "reffing" that debate. Apparently the actual referee was quite inexperienced but Id never argue with erring on the side of safety. He would have known what a puncher Price is and also about the actual gulf in class. Little didn't like it but will have spent Christmas at home instead of hospital. He will fight Dave Allen next year in a good 50 50 fight. Im tipping Dave to get his Lucas Browne fight, to win and then to retire honourably.
All the best to everybody who comes on here.

@Boxfan, never been a great fan of Price, I just hope he gets out before he gets seriously hurt. Regards Mervyn The Gee
No I always said Tyson Fury or AJ,or your guy Wilder beats him. What I like is his personality. Add that to him having some bad breaks and thats why I personally do. But same as you Ive wanted him to pack it win for a long while now.

I do think it was premature. Although Price had started to takeover, Little was still 'in' the fight. And while we know Price can be devastating, we also know he can struggle to finish a fighter off when he has them hurt -- admittedly this has been against opposition a few levels above Little.
