I do think it was premature. Although Price had started to takeover, Little was still 'in' the fight. And while we know Price can be devastating, we also know he can struggle to finish a fighter off when he has them hurt -- admittedly this has been against opposition a few levels above Little.
Fair comment. But I was one of those who thought the stoppage in Froch/Groves one was premature. I changed my mind after seeing the knockout in the second fight. Howard was vindicated in that one. It looked a career ending knockout to me and I was surprised to see George do so well afterwards.

It appears that Khan as elected to fight Crawford in April /May in the USA. If, and it"s a big if, Khan comes through, it will give him at least another couple of big money fights, he is still on just 32 years old.Regards Mervyn the Gee

On December 30th 2018, Pogba and ManU were being criticised. I wrote that after six matches under the new Manager and after playing Spurs I would reassess . Six played , six won, Two clean sheets, Pogba and Rashford back to their brilliant best, what a turn round. I have no doubt that that the present man in charge will be the permanent manager next season. Top four for Man U this season. Regards Mervyn The Gee

Hi Mervyn thanks for the mention mate. Not been on either forum for a while due to other stuff happening. Hope you and Marie are both OK and also hope to be more active in the future. Managed to watch Plant win his title and looking forward to Eubank/Degale.

Not sure mate. The peak Degale beats Eubank just like George Groves did. Eubank says he's improved under a new mentor from South America. The cynic in me says he might have fallen out with his Dad,at least in a boxing sense, because Ive not seen Senior for a while at his fights and conferences etc. Hell have to have improved to beat Degale, but Ive a feeling his youth might just pull him through.
If it does I think the target might be Plant which from what I saw might be a step too far.

Just spotted this Mervyn. I used to get "flogged" at school for a lot less than drugs. Only just joking. Bit rough on the lad but as you say he should have observed the laws of that land. Wonder where his parents were. Will have to look it up.

@Boxfan. I have been saying for years that "young"(31yrsold) Eubank should get rid of his father from his ring career, good as he was, I think he as hindered his sons progress as to the fight,I still think Jnr will win. Regards Mervyn the Gee

I was prepared to believe that Artis was actually conned by Carter Mervyn. Maybe he was an accessory. He came across very well in a few documentaries Ive seen. But Carter I think was a four star con man. Sorry to give him his proper title Doctor Rubin Carter.
