I actually had Wilson as this years MVP, Seahawks are nothing without him... sadly I was shouted down and scolded for not thinking Lamar Jackson was the greatest thing to step on a football field.I agree he's the best QB in the league. Unlike Mahomes, he made it through the complete season without getting taken out. Durability matters, and his can't be questioned. (Somewhere, Mutt might be smiling. He posted that he always prayed when the Seahawks played.)
No - if they didn't get it, they would allow Packs to put the game away.Should they have gone for it there on 4th down?
Yes, provided their D made a stop - which they ultimately didn't.Is there enough time for them to get the ball back and complete a drive?
Yea it sucks.... Then again it also sucks that your contract hitman gets to ram his Helmet in our QB's brainstem and get away with it... but hey, I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles right? This bullshit is what annoys me about the NFL. If you look on reddit's NFL page and the game thread, not one non-Packer fan is saying it was the right call and yet there's no accountability for these decisions. You get idiots like Aitken saying "the defence had their chance"...yeah, they had their chance and they took it because they stopped Green Bay from going a full 10 yards. Why are these decisions excused so easily by the NFL? It's a joke. Green Bay always seem to benefit too and the worst game I've ever seen called was their farce against the Lions earlier in the season.
That decision by the refs was just infuriating. I can't defend some of the awful play from the Seahawks early on but they deserved a chance to either receive a punt or defend a 4th and 1.
