I've never seen the Eagles as a poorly coached team. It's the injuries and draft picks that have cost them in the last two seasons. Who are the Eagles going to get in who is guaranteed to do a better job? Strange decision for me, Pederson deserved more time at least.
Its fucking Howie Roseman.... HES THE FUCKING PROBLEM.

Doug didn't draft Jalen Raegor and JJ Arcega Whiteside over Metcalf and Jefferson... This piece of shit has destroyed the Eagles and used Doug as the fall guy.

It's not even like there's a ton of options either. Are they going to gamble on a college coach or try to hire a guy like Bieniemy? Either way, there's no obvious pick out there who can do a better job than Pederson.

I think Pederson would be great for the Chargers.

FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They just fired Doug Pederson.... It's Howie fucking Roseman who is the problem. Fuck Howie, this piece of shit has destroyed the Eagles, now these idiots just fired the Only couch in Eagles history to win us a Super Bowl...

How the fuck was this guy going to succeed when Roseman passed up Metcalf and Jefferson and left Doug with the likes of Jalen Raegor and JJ Arcega Whiteside.... not only to mention kept bringing back Alshon and Jackson who clearly are not there to play and pretty much never even show up to the games and also kept bring back a 400 year old Peters.

Fuck Jeffery Laurie... You fucking piece of shit.... Philly will not stand for this, your little butt buddy Howie will get his.
The owner completely fkked Pederson over - got him to tank for draft picks, then fired him to save face for the tank.

Listening to this press conference with Laurie its obvious what is going on here... Him and Roseman are Jewish bed buddies and all they care about is the money.. Doug clearly was sick of Wentz nonsense and not standing for Roseman giving him shit players like JJAW or Raegor... Howie is in Lauries head and they clearly fired Doug because they didn't own up to their own failures between the Wentz contract and the draft picks.

I was impressed by the Browns performance but heading into KC this weekend is going to be a HUGE hill to climb and I can't see it happening again 2 weeks in a row managing an upset. The Chiefs will have had 2 weeks of rest to get everyone as healthy and injury free as they can. The Steelers flat shit the bed and Ben picked a hell of a time to have one of his worst games ever, but that's how it goes in the NFL, there are no certainties.

The Saints looked ordinary in the first half of their game with the Bears but did come on in the second half to blow them out. I don't think they can come out that flat against the Bucs with Brady at the helm this week. Brady has tons of post season games under his belt and has won WAY more than he's lost, so I expect him to bring his best effort to not lose to the Saints 3 times in one season.

The Saints have had a playoff jinx going for the past few years and can't seem to make it back to the big game no matter how well their season has gone. Hopefully, the playoff jinx is a thing of the past and they can at least get to the NFC title game against the winner of the Packers/Rams game----------and I'm pretty sure it will be Green Bay. And if it is Green Bay, I don't like the Saints chances much if it is on a frozen Lambeau Field with snow and below freezing temperatures that they can have this time of year.

What are the odds of this happening?

I think it'd be a great move for the Dolphins. I have no idea what's happening with the Texans though, they seem to just throw away their talent so easily with no obvious end goal. I don't think Tua has shown that much so far either, it's not like he's a proven QB at this point, or even had a promising season like Burrow, but I guess you never know with the Texans.

I've always rated Watson though, he's a great talent, possibly the most underrated QB in the league. I think if you swapped him with Mahomes, there'd be very little difference in the Chiefs and Texans. There's no gulf between them, I don't think, yet Mahomes gets mentioned as a potential ATG and Watson misses out on some top 5 lists. As soon as he moves to a functional team (which the Dolphins are) he'll be a perennial MVP contender, alongside Herbert, Mahomes etc..

Winning makes everyone look at qbs different. Generally because sports media either doesn't understand football, or pretends not to for ratings

Interesting move. It always seemed like Pete Carroll was high on Schotty but obviously he's now gone. It'd be interesting to know whether it was Wilson behind that decision, but it's a positive step anyway.

Man. Watson is good but the throws mahomes has are rodgers territory. Not many can throw like he can from any angle and while on the move like that.

To be fair I haven't seen enough of Watson this year to say he's that kind of good or not. Prior to this season I would have rated him in the second tier. Good but not great.

Yeah, that's fair, Mahomes definitely has a great arm. I think Watson is kind of the compromise in between Mahomes and Jackson; he throws better than Jackson but doesn't have the same running ability and has better movement than Mahomes but his arm isn't as good. I'd like to see him in better circumstances though, he has little help with the Texans.
