I heard a rumour Otto Wallin isn't allowed to fight until after Wilder v Fury 2 so he don't get banjod and expose how awful Fury truly was

Otto Wallin is reported to have suffered an injury to his foot.

Replacement opponent is 20-0-1 Russian Apti Davtaev.

Davtaev has 19 KOs and tends to stop them early. Hard to see this going 10 rounds.

Much better fight, maybe. Wallin/Browne is fucking pointless.

Davteav is crap. He had a growing cult following in the mid Klitschko years when there was no one worth a damn on the horizon. Then he got a draw against a bum, and disappeared.

That training video up top looks like he's throwing punches underwater. Dude looks slow as shit. Either way, Browne is likely not even close to half the fighter he was when he fought Chagaev. That's just sad, btw, because old ass Chagaev hurt him.

Have you actually seen him fight? (that video is quite misleading.)
Davtaev doesn't have the hand speed of, say, Bakole, but not slow, either. - And he has that huge, thudding kind of power, like George Foreman & Ernie Shavers had.

He also has a very solid chin, though unfortunately we know this because his defense isn't all that great.

Davtaev's biggest flaw, I think, is his extremely bad accuracy, which both wastes power and leaves him open for a very fast counterpuncher.

Well, Browne poses no threat to anyone, but at least we finally get to see Davtaev fight outside of Russia. If he wins convincingly, then I suppose he becomes an interesting player in the division. If he loses to Brown, he should probably go open a Borsht & Stroganoff stand in Minsk.
