Personal training / advice

Evening workout went well.

Dead/OHP
F Squat/Skull
Fly/Pullup

That OHP is insane, 67.5kg that's a mega effort. I do sets of 12 supersetted with dead lifts and I manage 29k.

I think I need to up my weights but I haven't got round to buying new plates yet.

All the HR numbers are still insane though so I'm very happy atm.
 
Went to gym today for my weekly drop in.

Lots of stretching, core work, some light upper body and light leg work.
You got anstratching progr or just random stretches.

I do yoga on a Wednesday but I'm at the mercy of what the instructor wants to stretch when I need to focus on my hips and shoulders which are aged at approx 83 years old :(

My stretching is just mainly a series of yoga manouveres mainly focusing on lower body and core. Child, half pigeon, downward dog, bridging & some other who's names im not sure. Theres one where i just lie flat on my back that is surprisingly useful, i can feel my body weight just settling and pushing muscles the right way without doing anything.

And then ur basic core exrecise, planking, side planks, elevating legs and alternating knee to chest (not sure of technical name).

Nothing too strenuous, 45 mins on a mat and gives me a chance to check out the yoga pants walking around the gym.
 
Training around footy is starting to fuck me off and because of the weather this year our games are backed up to fuck.
Played Thursday then Saturday and 8 aside last night, admitted I should have fucked it off last night but i proper enjoy that one.
Now I was supposed to be playing tonight but I’ve fucked it off to run but my legs are dead as fuck. Then another game Friday. It’s fucking relentless.

I can’t even imagine supersetting deadlifts. Whether I’m doing 3-5 heavy reps or 8-10 lighter ones, I’m absolutely fucked for at least 2 minutes after a set.
It shags me dead, but it gets my HR going through the roof which I wanted.

It's also different muscle group so I guess that helps.

Workout wasn't great today, only got through 6 supersets instead of my usual 9 cos I was rushed for time. I remember now why I worked out the mornings as there was no nagging for me to hurry up.
