Does that mean you done another body part instead or just done fuck all?

At least when i skip leg day i do something else around 3% of the time.
Didn't do shit. I do upper/lower days, so there's no point really doing anything else as my second upper day of the week is tomorrow. Throws me off sync if I do it on different days.

To be fair I've been working 12 hours at work everyday this week so the motivation to go to the gym in general just hasn't been there. Just a minor blip though, I've been consistent enough for the past 8ish months to have some down time.

Not like I'm even missing out on any gains anyway with my poverty test levels. Takes me about a year to gain half a mm on any body part.

My training has been shit this week. Did arms on Saturday, played football on weds.

Monday and Tuesday I slept in thinking I'd catch up in the week, but then Tuesday night was at the hospital till 4 am so obvs Wednesday morning didnt happen. This morning I was too tired from the previous day so no workout then.

I'll play football tomorrow and will squeeze a workout Saturday, probs chest and back.
Then if I can be fucked ill do legs on Sunday and all will be well again.

Using the gym instead of my run at the other office today. I can use dumbbells and incline bench which really helps with my cheat injury for some reason. So first proper chest workout in over a month.

OHP session today, felt pretty good, bar went up pretty easily.

OHP 5x2 @55kg
Incline Bench 5x4 @71kg
Pull Ups 5x5 @35kg
Arnold Press 3x12 @15kg superset with EZ Bar Curl 3x12 @29.5kg
Lateral Raises 3x12 @11kg superset with Band Pull Aparts 3x14

Been doing 40min to 1hr cardio after training and it seems to be killing my strength. Not overly fussed because it isn’t my goal to be strong right now but wasn’t expecting bench to drop off so quick. Actually learning to love cardio though, it’s nice to get a sweat on.

Yeah that much cardio does seem to effect my strength too whenever I take a week off from running I find my lifts get a bit easier, especially squats. I probably run too much but I simply enjoy it too much to reduce my mileage.

Sunday long run today 7.59 miles in 1:02:27. Pacing was really good for first 3 miles but then I experienced a runners high and did 3 miles all just under 8 min mile pace without even trying, I wasn't even breathing hard, just breathing in and out through my nose like I was going for a brisk walk, felt great. Last mile and a half was a bit tough as runners high wore off but nothing too bad and my pace was still good.

My run was along the undercliff walk and I saw a smashed up silver van when on my run, no other vehicle in sight, so guess it must have fallen off the cliff face and after checking my news feed on my phone after my run it confirmed my worst suspicions some poor man had driven off the cliff and died.

My training hasn't been good the past week but my calories were on point, I still managed 3 workouts and I've done a shit tonne of manual labour in the garden.

Moved 30 20kg bags of blue slate chippings to various bits of the garden, unloaded it, arranged it. Not as good for me as working out obvs but sometimes real life gets in the way.

Next week my training needs to be on point as I'll miss my two football games due to various reasons.

I was initially ginna have a two week deload but with the way last week and this week will go I won't need to.

I'm gonna do one more week with these exercises after this one then I'm gonna switch the exercises out slightly.

Been finding it an absolute cunt lately to train after work. It really is the last thing in the world I want to do.
I feel you, man.

I work out after work once or twice a week. But any deviation from perfect conditions I sack it off.

Leave late from work? Not doing it.

Traffic worse than usual. Not doing it.

See the lights were left on when I get in. Not doing it.

I'm in absolute bits, btw.

Worked out Friday and Saturday then yesterday I was painting, moving and building furniture and all sorts of irregular shit and now pure ruined.

Squat session today, felt good, weight felt light, did singles with 98kg which is the most I've squatted in ages, pretty certain I can manage 100kg next week easily.

Squats 1x3 @87kg / 2x2 @92.5kg / 3x1 @ 98kg
Front squats 6x4 @75kg
Single Leg Extensions 3x12 @24kg
GHR 3x14
Paused BB Calf Raises 3x15 @78kg superset with ab work

Totally slept through my alarm
That's the danger of morning workouts, done that plenty of times in the past myself. I generally prefer evening workouts myself, find I have more energy later on and I personally like a moment to myself in the morning to properly get going, hate feeling rushed early on in the day trying to cram everything in before I get out of the door.
