Some people are really weird man. There's just no excuse for shit like this now the internet is so available. A few hours researching and discussing on some forums will be enough for most people to get going on the right path.

It's just a case of burying her head in the sand I reckon. She knows she's eating too much but she enjoys it so goes to the gym to equal it out. That's my expert psychoanalysis of her without even having any interaction with her.

It makes me wonder, would I actually go to the gym if I didn't have a goal in mind? Would I do it just for the sense of well being? Dunno if I would tbh. Probably go for runs or something.
Yeah, she knows I just cut like 2 stone and all I did was adjust macros or up my cardio, it's that simple. I've never heard of anyone using temp checks as a way to monitor progress. The annoying thing is it all seems to come from one book she has read, the book basically demonises sugars and sweeteners so it's safe to say it's full of out dated nonesense. It's actually incredibly frustrating listening 5o someone complain whist ignoring any advice given.

Wow, I have no tolerance for people that stupid or delusional, would have just Bert stared her and walked away or told her to really burn more cals she should douse herself in kerosene and light a match then watch the body fat just melt away, lol.
It's honestly one of the most retarded things I've heard. She legitimately thinks that getting her temp up will turn her onto a fat burning machine. It's sole kind of reverse universe where you eat more but get slimmer. She messages every weekend and I really don't think I can hear her excuses or theories any more. She said she will keep doing what she's doing till she can figure out why it's happeningx I nearly exploded

I probably would explode, when I meet people who are this irrational I simply can't help myself and feel an overwhelming desire to point out how wrong they are. It of course never works they are using some twisted logic that only makes sense to them that has no basis on reality or anything resembling logical.

OHP and Sling Shot bench max test today. Went better than expected, matched my OHP PB and did 60kg and managed to do 100kg on Sling Shot bench.

I slept well the last 2 days which for me recently has been something rare, so I guess that might have helped.

6 mile run today, done in 52:44. Felt good, but my throat felt a little sore breathing in, might be coming down with something, spent the last couple of days with my mates kids who had colds, so might have caught it off the little ones.

Might do press up challenge later this evening, I'll see how I feel.

Eating like fuck just now. Going to work out later. One of the rare workouts I'll do on a well fed stomach. Be interesting to see if I get much of a boost

Makes a big difference I think, no idea how people train fasted.

So I've been off my cut a week and banged on 4kg, water retention and fat a pretty clear. It's kinda hard going from so lean to knowing I'll likely add 10kg in no time. Strength is massively up, trying to build upto 200kg bench now. Might be a long ride

Why don't you try lean bulking mate? You've obviously got the genetics for it to work quite well. Just seems a shame to undo all the hard work of your cut to just put on fat in such a short space of time.

That's the plan ideally. I'm writing a diet plan today based around what I've been eating during my cut and then just having the extra junk when I feel like it. I have some fairly big strength goals this bulk and I think the only upside to a fast dirtier bulk would be my bench going up but really there's no rush. Ideally I want to take the good habits with food that I had on cut (eating veg and getting in good healthy food) and keep them for the bulk, I've never actually done a bulk in an ideal way I don't think, so I'm interested to see if it matters, the obvious upside will probably be that I'll have less fat to cut next year and it'll take less time. I'll post my diet up later when I've sorted it.

Leg is feeling better every day, was told to do light leg pump on the weekend but I feel like rushing it isn't the way, today is the first day I havent felt any kind of pain at all so I'm feeling pretty optimistic. It has only been a week and a half but for a saddo like me who loves to train legs, it feels like forevor, proper itching to get back to it.

Shite workout, man.

Was going fine then I had to deal with some shit with my daughter so took a 50 minute break midway through. Naw even sure it counts as a workout, tbh.

Try it again next session see how you feel. If it makes you feel any better I got pinned on bench press today.

Tried my leg out, squats felt fine, deadlifts I couldn't even get down to the bar and hamstring curls I had on minimum and it was like my leg has created sticking points where I just had zero power through the movement.

3rd workout since Friday.

Done a back/bicep circuit. Working on a progressive 8-16 rep range atm using dumbbells.

So I just do as much as I can each set, if it's less than 8 reps I drop weight. If it's more than 16 I up the weight.

Because it's circuit training I do a set of sprints in between each exercise.

Squats session today. Did a different mesocycle of the program I've been doing which is more hypertrophy based than strength based. Was doing reps of 20 on some exercises and damn while the weight feels like it's barely there at the start by the 15th rep I'm struggling.

Legs feel like jelly now, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hate high rep sets, but I guess if I only ever did what I enjoyed I'd never progress much, you have to sometimes put yourself in uncomfortable situations.

I'm also definitely ill, had a sore throat all day, don't feel too bad really, I just hope I can shake it off quickly and not get any worse.

Squats 2x6 @70kg / AMRAP @70kg - 10 reps completed / AMRAP @70kg - 9 reps completed
Front Squats 4x10 @44kg
B Stance Squat 3x15 @29kg superset with BB Rows 3x15 @32kg
DB Row 3x20 @10kg superset with RDL's 3x20 @22kg
Single Leg Extension 3x20 @10kg superset with Hammer Curls 3x20 @9kg

Been training like a mad cunt lately. Wrasslin almost everyday. Treating running like a recovery session. No weights for a little while, have to see to that pretty soon I guess. Dropped a fair bit of weight too.
