100% the same here. It blows my mind that everyone wants to go for drinks after work constantly. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some decent lads at work, but get me home.
I'm the same, I'm an introvert meaning I can only really wind down and chill when alone.

I do like other peoples company and do socialise but can only handle so much of it before I have had enough and am just there out of politeness and looking for the right time to basically fuck off home.

I just don’t see the point of socialising constantly. I don’t need to do it, whereas you can see some people physically itching to be somewhere. It’s like an addiction. There’s a lad at work who goes on several stags every year and he only need the most tenuous link to any member of the stag do before he’s sniffing for an invite.

I turn down every work event, even if it means me going in and working instead of having a free piss-up and meal somewhere.

I'm exactly the same. I tried explaining to my missus that I have some sort of social limit, like a cap which if I go over I just turn into a moody cunt because I've had enough and just want to leave.

Shes always like "aaah let's go to somewhere with some people" and I'm just thinking in my head of ways to murder the friends so we never have to see them again.

Fucking weddings and all, man. Got two of the nightmares coming up this summer. I was absolutely over the moon when it looked like covid was gonna cancel the whole summer, man. Would happily take a million old cunts dying if it meant I didn't have to go to the weddings tbh.

Weddings I'll make an exception for. I love a good wedding.

I'm not a very sociable person. I'll chat with work colleagues at work, but I'm not seeking them out after hours. I've got a pretty broad but very compartmentalised circles of friends.

Yeah, weddings are the absolute worst. Religion, suits, and crowds. It’s like the three horsemen of my personal apocalypse.

Doing weddings wrong
I don’t want to be there and I wouldn’t want anyone at mine if I had one.

I’ve never been to the weddings of any work colleagues and they genuinely get offended. I’ve probably missed 5-6 now. I’d just prefer them to stop inviting me.

Depends on the type of wedding for me. If it's this formal boring affair, sit down dinner where I am stuck on a table with a bunch of people I don't know that well then yeah that's a nightmare.

But if it's a relaxed piss up then I'll just get drunk, jump onto the dance floor and moisten every single women's panties in a 100m radius with my dance moves, lol. If I'm drunk then I don't mind socialising at all but even then if I sober up at some point, I'll probably slip out while nobody notices.

Probably my last week running 30 minutes a day, probably, not fully sure yet.

Since my main aim is burn fat atm, maintaining strength doesn't massively motivate me so I'm not bothered if I lose some strength.

I'm enjoying running atm.

What I'll do though is every 5th week I'll do my 20 rep test and see how my strength compares.

After finishing my strength programme I was able to do

Flat Bench 1x20 @66kg
BOR 1x20 @71kg
RDL 1x20 @81kg
Squat 1x20 the @81kg

So every 5th week I'll keep those weights the same and see how many reps I can do. If the number gets low enough maybe it'll motivate me to go back to weights, I dunno.

Right now though I'm enjoying running. Not even tracking distance, just running 30 minutes a day 4 days a week. Something serene about it.

Fuckin love a wedding. And most socializing, tbh. Love going to bars and getting wrecked. Would never go for 2 beers after work though, tbf. Dont sook boabie either. It's wrecked or home for me.
This drives my missus mental for some reason.

I don't particularly like going to peoples houses though. When I drink I like birds and dancing. I don't even bang birds anymore but I still like the interaction. Basically any drinking outside or in a bar then I'm all over it, tbh.

Watched that video and I think I could sack off BORS, OHP and most ab exercises...I just never really 'feel' them.

Fuck knows what I would substitute in though so will prob just keep doing them, tbh.

I find it hard to feel situps in my abs, but using an ab roller feels like it couldn’t focus any more pain into my stomach muscles if it was fitted with ab-honing lasers of some kind.

That’s actually why I always dodge them tbh, it hurts for days.

I dunno if it’ll help, but I feel OHP way more in my shoulders when I use dumbbells. It doesn’t feel anywhere near as focused on my delts when I use a barbell.

I couldn’t tell you the science behind that without digging through that book you and Smudge are writing, and it’s highly possible that everyone’s different anyway in the ‘where lifts hit me’ stakes, but worth a try.

I think it might be because I touch the dumbbells together at the top of the rep, but then widen them right out as I come down. Like an extra movement that you couldn’t get with hands fixed on a barbell.

Probably a wank explanation, tbf.

I fucking hate sit ups, not because I really feel it in my abs, I don't, it's just the movement on my boney Asian ass it really uncomfortable.

Russian twists are good for abs imo. Also the ones where you sit on a bench a little bit reclined, hang your legs off the with weights in between your feet and bring your knees to your upper chest.

If I ever do abs, which I don't, I'll superset those two and get a nice burn in the abs.
