If I had the authority to boot you off this forum, I would.

I think I speak for all the weaklings in here when I say we prefer the echo chamber of our own excuses and failings, rather than the constant reminder that we could do better if we tried harder. I hope you’re happy with yourself, Craig.

I think it might be because I touch the dumbbells together at the top of the rep, but then widen them right out as I come down. Like an extra movement that you couldn’t get with hands fixed on a barbell.

Probably a wank explanation, tbf.
I don't have DBs but definitely agree, when I have used them it's much better.

Embarrassing, ain’t it?

Every now and then he chucks in a roll of shame so he can be all, “look at me, I’m one of the guys!”.
He's basically got his knob out on insta.

Can confirm he could well be one of us.

Either that or big legs do make your dick look smaller. Tiny, in fact.

Bet it's a fucking throbber when hard though, tbf.

This page actually proper cracked me up.

Smudge I was blessed with an oversized widge, which isn't the blessing you'd think it is, but it does look a little on the small side on that video

Rakim, I'm with you on the dB ohp instead of barbell, same with bench and dB bench. I'd guess you have to use more little stabiliser muscles when using dbs

Was meant to go for a run today but decided to switch to OHP and Slingshot bench 1 rep max session instead as weather was so crappy.

Managed 57kg on OHP, 1kg down from 6 weeks ago. I had hoped to do more as my bench went so well on Sunday, but 1kg down isn't too bad considering I lost 3kg on OHP the first 6 weeks cutting.

Slingshot bench went OK, matched my lift from 6 weeks ago with 100kg, which actually felt pretty comfortable. I got cocky and tried 102.5kg, got it halfway up but then stalled and had to do the roll of shame. I could of done more than 100kg I think, should of just tried 101kg, but my wrist was bothering me so was content with just 100kg.

That's this 6 week block done, current numbers 95kg Bench, 109kg Squat, 140kg plus deadlift, 57kg OHP at 133lbs or 60.4kg. Going to deload for a week then will start another 6 week block of training and hope to add to my maxes as I should of finished my cut before then.

Great numbers for 60kg.

Hips have been fucked since squatting the other day. Deciding to do the extra top set wasn't a smart choice. Excited for the next squat session though, it will either be 190kgx12 or 180kgx14. I'm trying to get back on top of nutrition again now too.

Edit:112 with code welcome10

That'll take me to 240kg, which should be plenty for now.

I guess the plus side of being weak as fuck is that we won't have to spend a fortune of weights when building a home gym.

Ha! We got the last laugh!

Struggling like fuck to get back into lifting. Not a motivational thing, just doms of the gods and muscle fatigue. I took a week and a bit off just coz and I wish I never bothered. Absolutely horrid doms.

Imagine being so pathetic that you go back to being a noob after taking a week off, ffs.

This is something I've said too, it makes zero difference I need 260kg and someone may need 100kg, they can progress just as well with that weight but I need the heavier weight to progress now so I've fucked myself really. I'm at one of the best gyms in the country too so I've been spoilt with equiptment and now going back to basics seems worse than it would have if I was at my old gym.

If you're a bird you're laughing, you need about 60kg total and you've completed your gym setup.

That’s exactly why I need to do something every day. I can spend 5 years increasing by 10% but I’ll have a week off and lose 98% of all muscle.

Not gonna lie, the last sentence hurt, man.

Seriously. Dunno if it's just me but any sort of deviation from the routine and I'll be fucked.

Take for example db presses. I was well on the way to doing 40kg in each hand, took a few months off it, still working out obviously and get stronger in general. Go back to db presses, can only do 22kg??? Obviously I haven't done that exact movement for a while, but surely I shouldn't have lost nearly 50% strength from it ffs.
