Did a 3 mile run yesterday, 2 miles slower pace, 1 mile at tempo, done in 23@17. First mile was slower than I wanted for some reason, felt like I was pushing enough to do 8 min mile but apparently not. I guess the heat with it being 26C may have effected the first mile as it's been a while since I've run in such hot temperatures. But was happy with the tempo mile, been a while since I've gone under 7 min mile, though was fucked afterwards.

Splits 8:29/7:52/6:56

Deadlifts today. Deadlifts went OK, form on 2 rep max could of been better, lock out wasn't too smooth. But front squats went well. Last week my back injury made them uncomfortable but this week felt fine, well as well as front squats can ever feel.

Deadlift 2 rep max @142kg - 2 reps completed
Deadlift 4x1 @127.5kg /AMRAP - 3 reps completed /ARMAP - 3 reps completed
Front Squats 5x4 @70kg
RDL's 3x8 @62kg superset with Weighted Pull Ups 3x8 @22kg
Snatch Grip Row 3x16@33kg superset with Hammer Curls 3x16 @11kg
EZ Barbell Curl 3x16 @26kg

Always though the gay for pay thing in bodybuilding was a myth.

DM'd you x
Hahha Well I can say for certain that isn't a myth. Some of the wierd shit I've been offered the last few years.

I did actually rate a guys dick for money recently, Smudger shared it on here I think. Absolute madness

Been feeling well off the past few weeks. Just generally feeling off, demotivated and lethargic. Can still lift as much as usual but today after the session I felt like I was gonna collapse. Just hit a brick wall.

It's probably the worst case of Covid-19 ever seen in a human body, but because I'm hard as utter fuck I'm feeling it like a bit of a head cold.

Oh also doing high rep deadlifts didn't effect my strength at all, tbh. Obviously going back to low rep was an adjustment but I'm just as strong as before with better endurance to push myself.

@Rakim so yeah, changing to high reps will do no harm. Were we even talking about that? This super strong strain unseen before in humans case of Covid-19 is messing with my memory. Still strong as normal, though. Absolute fucking unit!

What do you reckon you could do a 5k in, mate.

Finishing with a sub 7 min is impressive, mate.

The last couple of weeks have been terrible for me, man. Just so fuckin tired just now. So e issues with the baby means I'm getting little, if any, sleep each night. Went in the gym yesterday and it was a typical session. Basically just got through it but any notion of a decent session, much less progression, is oot the window just now. The way I see it, just getting in and doing something/anything is the goal just now.

She came nearly 3 weeks early and I reckon I could've got close to my target if she cooked a while longer. Was gonny upload pics but had no idea the lack of sleep and shit like that would be this bad, ffs. Still sexy as fuck, took this pic at the weekend, but no hope of maintaining.

Edit: just checked MFP and I ate 1600 cals yesterday and 104g protein. Just realized I ain't even ate today and it's nearly 3pm, ffs.

15490

Obvs a pure fuckin ride the noo but, honestly, gie it a couple more weeks with no sleep, shite diet and crap workouts and I'll still be a pure fuckin ride, tbh. Elite genetics. Might even be part alien or some shit, ffs.

I estimate about 23 mins if conditions are optimal and I have a course where I don't have to weave through the public or stop for traffic. Last year I did a 5K in 22 mins so not in as good a shape as then but I'm doing half the mileage this year compared to last year so that's not surprising.

I’m enjoying the 4x10 stuff, even though I’m still fannying about getting used to how much weight I need for every exercise and when I’m stopping at 8 reps or pushing to 12, etc. I’ll do this until Xmas and see how I’m getting on.

What's the paternity leave over there? Sleep is the one thing I'm dreading, man. I'm well off if I don't get 7 hours, ffs. Not sleeping all night will have a massive effect on me.

Still look in good shape there, though. Try smashing protein shakes and shit like skyr yogurts. Easy 40g of protein already, do that twice a day and you'll only need a bit from eating meals to get a good amount. Far from ideal but should be able to maintain that mass for a while.

By a fucking country mile, the main reason I don’t want a 3rd kid is because these two dickheads slept like shit for fucking months and months. I get up at 5ish for work anyway and some mornings I was pretty much suicidal after being woken up 15 times.

It takes a lot to get me pissed off, but two years of broken sleep is a guaranteed way to do it.

Had the wrestling lesson tonight, pretty good I really enjoyed it. Showed us some bits and then at the end we did 1 minute rounds with each other, so me, my mate, the teacher and another guy, just switched. The teacher was a unit tbh, competes at 85kg but looked about 95kg so it was good to wrestle someone near my own weight.
I think I realised tonight that my strength really is a huge advantage but if I don't know what I'm doing its pretty useless. I'm gonna stick with it.

Missus is preggerz and our first coming in May.

Without doubt the sleepless nights are my biggest fear aside from it being healthy and everything, obviously. Cunt will be lucky to make it a few months if it's not a good sleeper tbh.

Legally, it's zero, in Florida. So it's at the companies discretion.

It's typically non existent. Most people get zero. My wife gets zero. Best they do for her is keep her job open for 6 months so she's taking 6 months off but no pay or anything like that. It's fuckin crazy, man.

I actually get 12 weeks fully paid, which is unheard of. They only introduced it a couple of months back to try and attract a younger work force. I'm literally the first person to use. I hadn't even told anyone in work I was having a baby. Then this was announced and I told them I'd be taking it in 6 weeks...which turned into 3 weeks, as she came early.

@Smudger

The sleep part is actually fuckin abysmal. Nae point dressing it up for you. I've honestly not slept more than 3 hours straight in over 3 weeks. Most night it's naw even close to that long. So 4 or 5 hours of broken sleep is absolute best case just now...in fact, I'd bite the babies fuckin hand off for that, tbh.

I didn't know this but breastfed babies are actually worse. They don't sleep as long as formula fed babies and even if they do want to sleep longer you have to wake the up to feed every 2 hours for the first few weeks...then 3 hours and so on. As they don't get as big portions or summin. My first baby was exclusively formula and it was infinitely easier than this breastfed one. The admiration I have for women who breastfeed is fuckin astronomical now. Literally like a dairy cow. My missus has basically been sitting aboot with her tits oot, usually dripping, for the last 3 weeks, ffs.

She's pumping some into bottles now so I can help more though, which is great. You'd think it'd be worse for me but I couldn't sleep anyway when they were up but now I can take a shot I feel a bit better about staying in bed while she feeds but it's fuckin murder.

Their wee fuckin faces though, man...just the cutest wee things imaginable.

I knew it was gonna be shit but not that bad, ffs. Finland can annoy the fuck out of me sometimes but I'm pretty grateful to be having a kid here.

Sleep deprivation aside, I actually can't wait. Just everything about it is filling me with joy. I can't wait to see what it looks like and all. Obviously I've got dark features and am a pure 10/10, but my missus has blonde hair and blue eyes, fair skin etc. She's about a 9 so I've kind of settled with her but whatever. Just shit like this is pure excitement.

Kind of sad it's gonna get my abysmal muscle building genetics though. Sorry kid.
