It's a shit situation and one that doesn't really have a real answer to. I certainly don't know what the solution is. The one think I'd hope the UK would get out of this is realizing how utterly hopeless a Tory government is for the people. If people can't see that they've acted terribly during this saga then they never will. It's at the point now where Boris could knock on some people's doors, fiddle their kids right in front of them and the bootlickers would be like "yeah, fair enough".

There's millions of good people in the UK, but the majority are fucking mongs. My sadistic side is rather enjoying watching the absolute failure from afar, tbh.
I'm exactly the same, man.

Only difference is as soon as I start feeling smug I remember I moved to where Donald Trump then became president 2 month later, ffs.

What's wrong with it?
There's nothing wrong with it exactly, it's more of a pt studio so it has a rack and a few dumbells and stuff but it's not much more than I have at home really. If it was. Closer I'd still use it but it's about half hour away. Might meet mates there once a week or something.

Leg press I've seen one made with those gymnast rings that looks pretty cool. Just not sure how heavy it would feel.

I honestly can’t think of a deadlier gym machine to try and manufacture on your own, without any fabrication skills.

Any failed weld at any point = weights falling on your face while you’re laying on your back.

If DB Rows progress much more I'll have to swap them out for a different exercise, my backup plan atm it switching them for Pendlay Rows.

You felt like that last time and ended up enjoying it if I remember correctly. Chin up son.
I fuckin hated it last time and that was summer. The only day I really enjoy is leg day, I have a big goal for that so I'll look forward to those sessions. Feel like a cunt complaining because I have more than most but fuck me it's not the same.

Workout today is

Squats 4x5
Bench 4x8
Pull ups 4x12
OHP 4x8
Deadlift 4x12

Will fuck DLs off for bicep curls if I'm too knackered.
Done this today. 5-10lbs off each lift except DLs and pull ups as they were BW anyway.

Done everything as re-planned, except Pull ups were like 12,12,11,10 and OHP, which are fuckin cunts anyway, were 8,8,6,5 and can go fuck themselves the absolute paedophiles.

Finishing on 4x12 FULL ROM deadlifts was horrific.

So intensity dialed back meant volume was way up. Going to stick with this, I reckon.

If it's gonna be a big deal move some of your equipment over to the gym.

Ahhhh.

I'm actually thinking of building a big shed for all my gym equipment, one that's gonna be big enough to work out in, I actually really like my set up now.

If I got 2 more 10kg plates I'd be able to test real life 1rm on a few different lifts.

But I have plenty to test 3/5 working maxes which are just as good tbh.

Bench session yesterday. Matched my previous 2 rep max with 89kg but the last rep was perhaps the slowest rep I've ever done, took ages to get the bar up and lockout. Did fail to complete the required reps for back off sets on bench as well as for DB shoulder presses but that's to be expected with me having time off.

7th day in a row lifting. Can't remember a time in my life when I have ever said that before.

I adjusted the height of my stand to test my theory on a false plateau with my Incline Bench.

Must admit, I felt pretty strong after this. I'd absolutely love one day to be able to hit a set of 12 at 76kg for all 3 lifts, but all progress is progress so I'll take what I can.

4 mile run yesterday done in 33:30. First run since before Christmas, felt pretty good, was just really old which made breathing difficult.
