I'm no expert but...

No hold it just out in front of your stomach so you're engaging all your core when twisting - if you're doing these properly they're not overly easy so 5 sets of 10 maybe to begin with

Push ups sounds good

If you've got a resistance band do band pull aparts too to help the rear deltoid as this gets neglected far too much

That all suonds like a good full body work out, you're obviously not focussing on specific muscle groups but put it this way, that'll do you more good than having a lie in :conf
Will do, cheers nuff.

I find if you hold it above your head when doing sit ups and twists the temptation to force your weight up using the ball as leverage is too much that's the only reason I'm suggesting keeping it closer to your centre of gravity

Did the push ups, the over head presses, the one armed dumbbell floor press with 8kg (5x15 each arm), Lunges holding 8kg (did 50 on one leg then 50 on the other), the wide grip push ups

Now I'm going to do the sit ups followed by 10 superman/hyper extention things cause I've fucked my lower back up before so don't want to neglect it. THEN finish with 100 squats and see if I can do any more. Talk in a bit.

Fuck me, I did one set of 10 sit ups with 10 twists after each sit up and nearly died. Decided "fuck that" and did 50 knee tucks instead. My fitness is shot. Time for squats.

I'd say so. Up, twist, twist, down = 1
This explains why I found it so hard... I did: Up, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, down = 1. hahaha (that's 20 twists btw)

 well you can do that if you wanted but I thought you were starting easy and building up to that
It killed me so I'll see what I do tomorrow haha, felt good though. Shame I could only do the one set but yeah.

I see that cool Rorschach character has made training logs. I'll go update mine now.

Mate of mine is really struggling to get back into the swing of things. He had surgery on his shoulder not too long ago and now he's trying to ease himsel back into the gym. He's doing some of the resistance band stuff but he was told it could be 6 months with physio until he's fighting fit again. He's gutted because he was as strong as an ox and now he's a fag.

Repeatedly insult him about it. 6 months is still better than never again though. Get him training legs twice a week.
