Please, come to my thread, let me ask you questions and answer them forever.

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

Well it doesn't get bigger on its own, you have to talk to it!
I started typing something out there, but it creeped me out so much I had to stop.

In fact I feel dirty now, filthy in fact. I'm going for a long, hot, steamy soak. :hey

Listen, I can only ask the questions. I cannot give you the will to answer them. When you come to a forever thread, you make a commitment. With your soul. This is like a marriage. This is what happens when 2 become 1.
Like in the spice girls song?! I thought that was about losing your virginity. But then, maybe this is too?

...Yeah...If that wasn't self-evident in the subtext of the thread overall, I apologise for not being more overt. Is Frederick Douglas being recognised more and more for all of his good works? Also, what are his works that were good?

Was he the guy that wanted to abolish America? Seems like he knows what's what.

Is feminism bad ??

should we go back to the old days and consider women to be property ??
Feminazis are the bad ones. Never forget that. They are one of society's biggest threats, along with these antifa guys and the atheists tryna take away the Christmas. Do you believe in feminazism? Or do you megaditto me on that count?

Yeah, probably. I'm not a fan and he looks like he REALLY likes Marx, like a real lot. But it seems like that's where the country is headed. Do you play any musical instruments?

No, I can't play any instruments or sing, but I'm a pretty good dancer.

I'd love to play, but I've always been too lazy. We didn't really have access to instruments as kids either. Although my brother learned guitar as an adult.

My Mrs and all her family are all multi-instrumentalists to a decent standard. It makes me jealous

Have you ever thought about asking one of them to hang with you and teach you something you wanted to play? Have you decided it would hurt your ego to ask, or you'd feel insecure about it or that they don't deserve the pleasure of being able to pass on their knowledge, or felt that it would provoke too much social bonding, or worried that you didn't have the innate ability to to make it worth their while and that it would disappoint the both of you so much, the failed endeavour that it would be, that you'd both give up on everything about life forever and become no more than faded shadows of your former selves, bitter toward each other and the world?

Edit: I think that may have been too much for this thread and I apologise but that's my question, regardless, Bob. If there were other people answering, I probably wouldn't have gone there. But there you have it.

No, nothing like that. I'm just not motivated enough. I also like to use my free time for really productive stuff, like talking shit on here.

That's weird, that's why I do this too. Maybe we have more in common than I thought. Have you ever wondered if Teddy Roosevelt romanticized the glory of fanciful deaths too much? Or was he still a great man anyways?

I only really know him from the night at the museum movies. Think he turns back to wax in that, which is pretty fanciful.

Forget that last question. I was thinking of Mother Teresa. Better question: Is miniature golf every bit as charming as real golf isn't?
Real golf would be more charming if it had windmills, children playing and teenage couple on first dates. So, yes.
