No way. Cotto was the man for quite some time before the first Margarito fight. He can actually box on his toes, but also effectively bully someone when needed. He'd beat everyone at 147

Outside of his last fight, he looked like shit at 154. Even though it's still a weak ass division compared to others atm, I struggle to think he'd be effective. Prime 147 Cotto is interesting to bring back, though.

He's too small for 154, 140 and 147 were all his

Cotto was never that good and doesnt have amazing wins at 147, Crawford would play with him the amount of times Cotto would get rocked would be unbelievable he would probably get stopped by his corner round 9

Spence would destroy him in a dog fight, Cotto's power isnt all that just a decent body shot, Porter would outbrawl him

Cotto was never elite and anything too special he nearly lost to Clottey and got wobbled and hurt in so many fights, Margarito at 147 was shocking aswell he would get steamrolled by most of the division now aswell

I have no reply to this since what you're saying is so off the wall, that I don't know if you're trolling or not

Cotto would have wrecked the Crawford that fought EgiBigArsename. But I agree on Spence winning a rugged decision. I see Cotto outboxing Porter.

Loses to Crawford and Spence, possibly by late stoppage.

Loses on points to old Pacquiao in a close fight.

Edges Porter on points in a close fight.

Beats Thurman and Garcia 7 - 5 or 8 - 4.

Cotto would lose to Spence by decision? Spence would have had his facr busted up by round 6, Cotto was elite at 140 but at 147 he was nothing special he doesnt even one solid win at 147, theres no way Cotto is ever outboxing Crawford people love hyping people up from the past

Cotto outboxing Porter isnt impossible but Cotto's stamina was bad and his face gets busted up too quick

Cotto did nothing at 147 theres no way anyone could say he could beat these big guys at 140 Cotto was good at 147 he had bad stamina and his face busted up, if Cotto brawled with Spence he would be so cut up and swollen after 6 rounds, still waiting for the spectacular performance at 147 of Cotto to actually see how he would do

Mosley was a solid win at 140 Cotto's best performance, Quintana lol he was chinny he would barely be top 10 right now, Clottey fight could have gone either way and Clottey was barely world level

Margo rematch was a good win but Margarito's eye was done, Margarito would never have been as effective at 154, one of Cotto's best wins is the guy who beat him but with one eye, Cotto was never elite above 140

This thread is going in a fascinating way that makes me question the nature of epistemology. Anthropological epistemology. Pugilistic anthropological epistemology, that of which is anthropocentrically something or another thing of which I will not clarify or on which I shall not elaborate any further or interchangeably farther. All I had in prison was a dictionary and a Bible and they are really running together and frankly I just don't remember most of what I read. I was hoping this was going to go better when I started to type and that I was going to sound much, much smarter and that I'd have more to say about the subject matter of which I have noted is that of which is of the thread's original post creator.

I think he probably stops Thurman.. and beats Danny.. I don't think he gets necessarily stopped by Spence and Crawford. At this point I think it is pickem and he might beat Crawford. Beats Porter by late TKO.
