Prizefighter draw

Light welters again this week. Here's the draw:

Quarter Final 1: Danny Connor v Charlie Rice
Quarter Final 2: Ryan Taylor v Matty Tew
Quarter Final 3: Liam Shinkwin v Eren Arif
Quarter Final 4: Tony Owen v Chris Jenkins

Really tough draw for Eren Arif. I thought he might be a bit of a dark horse, but Shankwin should have too much
Rice could potentially outwork Danny Connor who often starts slow
Taylor could stop Tew
Jenkins vs Owen will be quality. Both well schooled with underrated power

I'm far more positive on Prizefighter than most on here and think it has a place but I don't have any interest in this kind of line up

It's a decent line up. Not much name value but a lot of similar level prospects as you say. There's some talent there and hopefully it doesn't go AWOL just because "it's prizefighter" and everyone has to box like an idiot because of the short format.

I'll be watching the Price/Thompson show instead though.

This one reminds me of the Welterweight one back in Janurary (the best one ever IMO).

All young, hungry fighters at the same level
This is right
Prizefighter is not my style of boxing,I love the ebb and flow of a 12 rounder as it is such a test of skill and intelligence
But these prizefighters are relevant as you see prospects given good exposure,a winner or exciting loser gets slots on decent bills and a massive boost to their career
The welter one with Glenn foot was fantastic and this could be the same, conner Taylor and shinkwin all will thrive in the fast pace
It's a shame evangelou isn't in it,he has ability
When prizefighter sucks is seeing Craig mcewan, junior witter etc involved, this is a good line up and the only decent prizefighters for established guys are the international heavys because 3 rounds for heavys is more of a guide of a result than any other weight
