my other other benz
I'm not too critical of AEW now because the company isn't running as it will do by the time it has TV. If this is the way forward when they do have TV, fair enough, but I don't think it will be, this is just to offer something different in the meantime.
Maybe this wont matter but where Id disagree on that is I think this is a very important time for the brand setting out what they are, hopefully youre right and this is not representative but if that is the case then a big new company with huge investment trying to sell itself as the big new thing just should not be having their naming and logos and presentation all over a show featuring this

and then you think the chief brand officer who should be protecting the brand from that is the wife of one of the top guy wrestlers who is also an executive, and the entire show was booked because some of the wrestlers who are also executives like video games and its just major alarm bells.

Again though hopefully this isnt representative of what they will be putting on tv and this will just be forgotten and the top guys also being bookers and executives wont be a problem and we can get another mid-late 90s era where they force WWE to step up their game too.

He didnt make it to the main show  His co-host is making him watch the rest
He just didn't have that seething anger that he did for the royal rumble. I hope we get to see it when he watches the rest. I missed this one. Was Cody's stuff really good? Sounds to me like it's a tale of two shows. You have the Youngbucks/Kenny Omega stuff and Cody Rhodes' stuff.

Chris Jericho is probably their best act, though. Dude is a fucking genius.

That whole set up was a fucking mess. Cody was solid as usual. But working with some fucking schlub indie mark he was twice the size of. Darby Allin makes Spike Dudley look like Brock Lesnar

Then Cody got beat up post match by a guy who was eliminated froma battle royale, that is being thrown over the top ropes, by a man with no legs.

It's not a tale of two shows, it's Indy bollocks from start to finish. It was really bad. Good wrestlers Cody, Moxley, MJF, and Page need to sort this out of they will be dragged down by this bullshit they are charging $50 for on PPV.

Well, good thing I missed it then. That's really fucking bad. All they need to do is bring that hand grenade guy, and they'll be all set with the goofy indie garbage. You know I wasn't that mad at the royal rumble. It was quite funny to me. It was just a funny, throwaway show, I thought. The thing is that they seem hellbent on doing this kind of shit over and over. As Corny said, they're hiring their indie friends to help stroke their ego. They're not taking it seriously that they have the ability to make something special.

Corny says they'll all be back begging Vince in no time the way this is going. I have to agree. I did see MJF shitting on the videogame loving crowd on Twitter. That shit was hilarious. The dude knows how to get heat.

They're missing Teddy Hart, though. My god, MJF/Hart feud on MLW is fucking hilarious. When Teddy stole the Dyanasty's SUV and let his cat shit in the back seat because he wasn't smart enough to put a litter box in there :rofl.

If AEW sign Teddy, you can bet Brandi will be tweeting about how all AEW shows are cat inclusive

I love MJF,he can work, he acts like a hell, works like a heel, and when it's time to take a bump the crowd pop. You know, pro wrestling 101.

And this is amazing!

It's a shame he's either going to end up taking video game spots for Omega, dressed as Chun Li, or working for Vince doing a greedy Jewish accountant gimmick :sad
