This is very similar to when Dana put a stop to his fighters wearing non-Reebok gear
I actually think that's a good thing. Bring back some semblance of kayfabe. Pro wrestling is becoming more and more like movie choreography. Heels and faces are out taking Twitter pics and doing video game streams together when they're in the ring talking about how much they hate one another. I'm down with this.

That would make sense if anything on AEW or WWE came across as anything like a real life story line. Kayfabe is dead as long as the TV shows say like they are.

No, I know kayfabe is dead, but I still don't think wrestlers should be blatant about breaking it. Plus, it opens the door to do something similar to boxing. I've read that a lot of Haymon's fighters have their Twitter run by PBC or something. Crazy that boxing and UFC has learned from wrestling and now wrestling can learn from them.

$800 undisputed LHW champ
Dude, they're going to kill Matt Hardy on AEW. WTF, so many botches.
That's not even the worst part of this match! Ref threw up the x sign (the sign that signals to the back that your shoot hurt) multiple times, and the shoot doctor comes in while Matt is collapsing all over the place.

The doctor says he can finish the match!

So a concussed Matt has to go up a scaffold to shove Sammy Guevara off it to finish the match!

The problem is the world has moved on and social media and off screen happenings are more interesting than what happens on the show 90% of the time. Creative has so little for these guys that a lot of the fandom created is due to what they do off their own back in this manner. It's kick started a lot if careers and given guys a lifeline post WWE for when that ship sails. I can understand vthe main performers not being encouraged to have happy clappy shit with the person they are vin opposition to on the show but for the rest of the card it's great to get their names out.

I prefer off screen talk to main show talk, do do most on here I'd guess. My wrestling mad son does and he's at the age to watch all this stuff they do, my youngest only really knows wrestlers from that stuff too as apart from playing with the figures and the games he has no interest in watching the show.

I don't watch any outside wrestling stuff other than Jim Cornette's podcast. I think you kind of made the point for McMahon. If people are watching their YouTube/Twatch channel, etc. more than the main show that's pretty much a failure. McMahon is paying these people to fuck him up the ass! I'll be honest, I'm not for all this social media garbage anyways. It wouldn't affect me whatsoever if this changes.

I don't watch the social media stuff, probably an age thing. Like you I'll watch something like the Conette podcast. These things getting the ban are mostly things aimed at the new generation of wrestling fans. Think Vince just hates people getting over by themselves, he's got a long history of burying anyone who does that. This feels similar.
