Dynamite was from a family of boxers / bareknuckle fighters with a sadistic side aswell, and was taught caught wrestling early on. Bret Hart said in his book that dynamite was one of the first people he met in life with genuine knock out power in his hands.

Don't think there was many people willing to try him, if Terry funk, Dan spivey, bad news and bret say how tough you were then that says a lot.

Plus the big story used against him is that he got sucker punched.

Enjoyed the Rumble match. It picked up as it went on and ended really well bar a couple of sloppy moments. No real omg who wins this situation as they made that totally clear with Edge coming in first and Orton leaving injured, that was poor. They should have had Edge and Orton enter mid way if they were going to do that ending. I prefer two entertaining quick wrestlers to start things or two guys who are going to want to make a name for themselves. Overall a good Rumble but not a classic.

When Orton got kayfabe injured, I absolutely detested that spot because of the ol' WWE trope was to get kayfabe injured, and then comeback later in the match to pick up the victory. They worked me

They did the final bit really well, quick without staying the welcome but the kayfabe injury and constant camera shots of Orton made it totally obvious what the set up was and killed any hope for getting behind anyone else which is a shame.

The Firefly Funhouse 'material' makes The Warrior and Papa Shango stuff look like Shakespeare in comparison It's absolute Rotten.

The stuff on TV now (granted I mainly see clips now and then) is even worse than the 'New Generation' era or the dying days of WCW it is fucking insulting and have to be a sadist to enjoy it.

Raw is terrible due to the fact it drags on for three hours. So by default, Smackdown is a much better show, because even if it is shite, it's only two hours, so it doesn't drag on.
