To me, I doubt that he's afraid of Taylor or anything. The WBSS has had issues with management. Remember, Baranchyk tried to get out too because he wasn't even paid or something. I don't feel like reading the article, so someone can summarize it and tell me I'm wrong if they'd like to.

Shame. Seems like he does have some genuine complaints. Don't know if it is enough for breach of contract, I imagine the WBSS will fight it.

The money issues and bad publicity won't help any future series get decent fighters, which is a shame because it has been a real joy to watch.

I didn't like what i saw against a limited guy like Baranchyk, honestly. Then Prograis' performance against Relikh was far superior in my eyes.
Burns beat Relihk, in 15 fights taylor has beat Ryan, Postol, Vazquez etc. All hard competiton but Taylor has fought the hardest competition and Prograis will stuggl

I don't think he is "afraid" of Taylor. He will, however, know it's by the far the toughest fight of his career, and fighting away from home and with little advance notice of the date, it just got a whole lot tougher.

If he was fighting Relikh, or Baranchyk I reckon he goes ahead with the fight regardless of the payment delays.

I agree it was superior, however Relikh was a far easier fight. At best he was an average fighter who has slipped and had trouble making weight. He did lose to an old Burns who should never have been fighting for World titles at 140.

I also think Prograis would have performed better against Baranchyk. Stylistically it suits him better. However I think Baranchyk is a decent fighter who would give Ramirez and Hooker problems.

I also think the home advantage makes Taylor favourite in the final and Prograis, and more importantly, Di Bella know that.
