During their performance at the 1992 Reading Festival, the band experienced "technical difficulties with their audio equipment" and were forced to stall their set. The rowdy crowd grew restless and began throwing mud onto the stage, repeatedly pelting the band. In protest, lead vocalist Donita Sparks removed her tampon on-stage and threw it into the crowd yelling "Eat my used tampon, fuckers!" Sparks has remained unapologetic about the incident,[5][80] and the tampon has been referred to as one of the "most unsanitary pieces of rock memorabilia in history."
She got her cunt out on The Word too

Doctor Strange

Arrogant but brilliant brain surgeon injures his hands in a car crash and is unable to work, so he becomes a sorcerer instead.

Pretty dull to be honest.

Educating Rita 1983

Julie Walters plays a working class housewife and hairdresser who, bored by her place in life, embarks on an open university course.

Michael Caine plays her tutor. A jaded old literary professor long sozzled by alcohol.

Rita provides energy and colour to Caine's drab world, while he builds her confidence and opens doors. It's a funny and touching relationship, a romance that never quite blossoms, but is better for it.

It's based on the Willy Russel play, and like a lot of his work, is funny, angry, and explores the lives of working class people, and how their circumstances limit their experiences.

As a former play, it can be a bit stage, and it's showing its age a bit too. But it's still worth a watch.

4/5

Oh, and Walters is only about 30 here, but still looks like an old woman. But also strangely fanciable at times. Although, that might just be me.

Great little film that. Caine is superb in it.

I was at that gig. Longest used tampon toss I've ever witnessed.
