Wasn't Kint broken down in tears at that time?
not really tears, he was def playing the gimmick under police pressure, but he should still have reacted to being called a rat. a few minutes later he made the point that he wasn't one, but i'd say he should have reacted to being called that immediatley.

i'm not gonna call it the best film ever, the scope is pretty limited. but is the best /most complete story i've seen whatever the media type.

usual suspects. not sure/10, at least 9

is a one and done type film, so much rests on the twist. the 2nd(maybe 3rd) watch aint the smae thing.

whata fucking story tho, i was bringing up issues from the start but it answerd them all before the end. bra fucking vo.
Great movie, one of my all time favourites. But yeah the twist pulls the whole thing together. It took me 3 attempts to watch it all the way through but when I finally got to the ending my mind was blown, lol.

And yeah on repeated viewings it loses something because everything relies on that twist. The 2nd time I watched it, it was still good as I could try and pick up clues to what was coming but after 3rd, 4th watch it's not the same.

The thing is most of the films we watch are my choice so every now and then she gets to pick, she's talking about watching the Twilight series over the next few weeks.
I myself prefer a gentle, non-marking slap so my dog/GF knows better than to come up with ideas, but that's just me.

London Has Fallen

Truly dreadful action sequel in which secret service agent once again must save US president Aaron Eckhart from yet another utterly implausible terrorist plot in London, cliches and stereotypes galore. The first one was crap but at least it was one of those "so bad it's good" films, this is just dire.

1917

Brilliant WW1 drama in which two young soldiers are sent to deliver an order to another regiment before a dawn assault which will cost thousands of lives.

I'll watch anything once, I've also found watching something crap helps me appreciate a good film even more.
The first Twighlight film is terrible, but just about watchable. The second is an abomination, (we stopped it part way through), and they supposedly get worse from there.

Foxy Brown

Pam Grier is out for revenge when her boyfriend is murdered by drug dealers, quite a fun film.

When Harry Met Sally

Great comedy with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan as two people who met each other in Chicago and drove back to New York and then have a series of chance encounters.

I've had a look through some critic reviews which tend to back up that it's terrible though weirdly that quiff haired critic Mark Kermode likes them.

I've already said to the girlfriend ok we'll watch them but no way are we watching them all in a row it will have to be over the space of a couple of months.

If your wife's choice in movies is anything like my wife's taste, you destined to watch "Chick Flicks" that involve a lot of talking between women about relationships.

And when I say talking, I really mean bitching about their boyfriends or husbands about how inadequate and uncaring they are. I can't handle the bore fest and usually leave the room to do something constructive like stare off in the distance from my back porch.

The Hunt - Liberal elitists kidnap and bunch of redneck conspiracy theorists and hunt them down like animals. Loads of recognisable actors such as Hilary Swank, Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Betty Gilpin etc, lots of shooting, fighting, dark comedy and overall just a fun film that doesn't take itself too seriously. 7/10 worth a watch, especially if your a conservative as it paints liberals as the bad guys for a change.
