I consider myself very boxing knowledgeable, have seen a TON fights in my life.

Talk about an obvious rip off there it was, Santiago won that fight, I had it 7 to 5 rounds and if wrong then 8-4, how in the hell could anyone not see something similiar?

That right there is what has always been wrong with boxing, the politics involved suck.

Move the "name" figter along, dump on the nobody.

After Berchelt Valdez I couldn't bring myself to watch more than a round of that garbage.

Like most watching the fight I wanna the jerk knocked out, well that didn't happen but he did get whipped and that didn't happen either.

Boxing at it's worst.

The tv guys all had Santiago winning the fight, I had it 116 to 112.

Like you, I can't stand Broner and nothing would make me happier than him getting out of the sport after suffering a devastating KO by some young up and comer.

The guy is so full of himself it isn't funny and to think there were people, including himself, comparing him to Floyd Mayweather, also another fighter I really don't care for.

Watching Marcos Maidana take him apart was icing on the cake for me and with this last fight, I don't know what the judges were watching to award him the decision.

He needs to pull a Mike Tyson and "Fade off into Bolivian" and let history swallow him up.

Maidana is probably his worst loss if I remember them all correctly (in terms of the calibre of the person he lost to) but he was still better than Santiago and beat Broner too convincgly in front of a crowd too so they couldn't have taken it from him no matter how much they may have wanted to.

But a loss to Santiago at the weekend signals the abrupt halt of the gravy train, they wouldn't be able to sell him anymore, PPV days gone and he's basically just a gatekeeper. Since Broner stayed on his feet and there was no crowd I believe the judges found it easier to just give it to the "home" fighter. Santiago saying afterwards that it could have gone either way and it wasn't a robbery will have some people accepting the judges decision also.

So gravy the train continues to move forward albeit at reduced speed, Broner maintains a record that has losses on it but never to anyone who he shouldn't have lost to (except Maidana in my view).

I won big on the Maidana fight, after his performance vs feather fisted Paulie i couldn't believe was favoured vs an aggressive power punching ww like Maidana. Paulie also said broner had no power at ww.

it was obvious before the fight he wouldn't be able to keep Maidana off him and that his output would have to be greater than vs Paulie yet all the experts and most forum members picked Broner and to win easily, one of the biggest fuck ups in reading a fight i can remember from people who should have known better.

i don't think there was much between Maidana and porter at WW and both are much better at the weight than Mikey Garcia. Broner vs Mikey and pacman were both disgraceful performances.
