After Berchelt Valdez I couldn't bring myself to watch more than a round of that garbage.I consider myself very boxing knowledgeable, have seen a TON fights in my life.
Talk about an obvious rip off there it was, Santiago won that fight, I had it 7 to 5 rounds and if wrong then 8-4, how in the hell could anyone not see something similiar?
That right there is what has always been wrong with boxing, the politics involved suck.
Move the "name" figter along, dump on the nobody.
Like most watching the fight I wanna the jerk knocked out, well that didn't happen but he did get whipped and that didn't happen either. After Berchelt Valdez I couldn't bring myself to watch more than a round of that garbage.

Boxing at it's worst.
The tv guys all had Santiago winning the fight, I had it 116 to 112.
Maidana is probably his worst loss if I remember them all correctly (in terms of the calibre of the person he lost to) but he was still better than Santiago and beat Broner too convincgly in front of a crowd too so they couldn't have taken it from him no matter how much they may have wanted to.Like you, I can't stand Broner and nothing would make me happier than him getting out of the sport after suffering a devastating KO by some young up and comer.
The guy is so full of himself it isn't funny and to think there were people, including himself, comparing him to Floyd Mayweather, also another fighter I really don't care for.
Watching Marcos Maidana take him apart was icing on the cake for me and with this last fight, I don't know what the judges were watching to award him the decision.
He needs to pull a Mike Tyson and "Fade off into Bolivian" and let history swallow him up.
