Well, it's either terrorism or a man with a severe mental illness.

What's really bizarre is what went on at (presumably his) flat nearby afterwards:

"Throughout Saturday evening, residents of the Basingstoke Road flats that were raided by the police stood - increasingly cold - on the footpath, watching on astonished as armed police entered their home.

The first officers arrived at 20:00 BST and secured the scene - apparently asking some residents to leave their flats or preventing others from returning.

Two specialist Incident Response Units from the ambulance service arrived - indicating that police were possibly taking additional precautions at the scene.

At 23:00 BST, more than a dozen armed officers, carrying shields entered the central block and climbed the stairs to the upper floors. At about 00:30 BST there was a loud bang that sounded like it came from inside one of the flats.

Shortly afterwards lots of the armed team left the scene. People here are shocked - but absolutely none the wiser as to what is going on."

Whenever there's scan't details like this it's always a red flag to me.

I'd be shocked if the victims were not white. I suspect this is probably related to the BLM protests.

The videos would suggest you are right about the victims, but I don't think you're right about the protests.

I know Reading fairly well, there wouldn't have been a large scale BLM protest there and all evidence suggests it dispersed mid to late afternoon. These attacks were at 7pm.

Looks like either Islamic terror or a guy from a Muslim background with a severe mental illness as per the Leytonstone station attacks a few years back.

That's what they want you to believe. This guy was probably influenced by the BLM movement and especially the media coverage of it and political pandering.

He may well have mental issues. But I would say these protests and the hysteria behind them were the catalyst in his actions.

But regardless this will be framed as a lone wolf attack. Again. Which when you think about it....makes it comical.

Reads like they expected explosives in the flat & possibly detonated one?

Horrible news. Caught a little of it the news late last night. Wasn't much said at the time. Can only hope anyone else suffering injuries comes through well and this doesn't escalate into something more.

what argument is that?

Sorry, meant the far right or the Islamic terrorist side, though I wouldn't be sure terrorist is the right term as it is a deeper routed more widespread set of people than just a few extremists. I don't want people from the far right retaliating with blood and I certainly don't want this to be used as a basis for further attacks from anyone from the Muslim community. Spending time in and around areas that both exist it can get uncomfortable there when anything like this happens.

BBC have confirmed as terrorism now. Almost certainly Islamic terrorism.

I'm not sure why you are convinced that BLM and radical Islam are linked. The former is overwhelmingly backed by black people and guilty white liberal types. Muslims generally have had little involvement with BLM.
