I speak for all the right wing deplorables on this website, stop trying to defend them. You're so bad at it that you make their positions look worse than they already are.
i'd like to respond, it wasn't up to me but discussion time is over.

no possible parralels can be drawn from the last few posts to the upcoming election and thread topic btw.

It amazes and amuses me when Uber capitalists complain about a result of capitalism and their response is to cheer for less capitalism.
there are levels and degrees to this stuff, most people you have chosen as your enemy prob actually want very similar things to you.

your second post - yup, that's how team sports politics works.

The House that Peterbilt
I never realised this until Candace Owens pointed it out.

When Trump won he won via social media not the media. They constantly abused his campaign. In fact if his campaign was traditional media only he wouldn't have made the primaries.

Those on the left have realised that trump got in via a non traditional route appealing directly to the electorate not through the MSM. His views and opinions couldn't be censored so realising they've ignored this huge gap in voter influence they've moved to close it. In effect embarking on voter manipulation just coincidentally in time for the 2020 elections.

Prove me wrong. :middlefinger
nice opinion

odd that you are very concerned about it and not actual voter suppression....................which is a FACT.................occurring across the nation as an integral part of republican strategy

PS - yopuve got to prove yerself 'right' before anyone is going to bother trying to prove you wrong,eh?

the burden of proof is on YOU to prove your thesis

Ill gladly back up the republican voter suppression if you like................or do you accept its happening?

I still see tons of conservative propaganda on Facebook and Twitter

The fact that most reasonable people see through the rights disasterous handling of Covid and the economy as a whole over the last 4 years is not because of voter influencing.

The right cannot govern effectively. It's been proven time and time again. The US, UK, Brazil ect are disasters where countries with centre left or socialist governments have managed Covid effectively.

The problem with a lot of these social media websites is that they sold themselves on the idea of being free speech platforms and then after gaining prominence, changed their stance quietly and people aren't aware of the changes. For example, the original people behind Reddit were massive supporters of a free speech forum - including distasteful topics - but after gaining a foothold in western societies, they disproportionately target conservative or right wing communities. Their enforcement of rules like harassment or brigading is entirely hypocritical.

If these sites like Twitter, Reddit etc. want to come out and say "we're a left wing platform and will discriminate against right wing platforms" then that's absolutely fine. The issue is that they don't, they claim to respect all sides, yet are only hostile to one, which creates a misconception of the truth.

It's not just hateful speech which is restricted either, you only have to look at the Twitter stance on gender pronouns or the YouTube restrictions on gun channels to see that this isn't just about cutting out toxic behaviour, it's limiting the voice of people who tend to be on the opposite side. Reddit banning people for saying only women can get cervical cancer is a political stance, and whilst I don't object to them running their site however they want to, it should be made clear that it's a safe haven for SJW mentality and dissenting voices will be removed.

My ideal world would have the government and all private companies be fair in how they treat different political parties and views. The same democratic establishment that Twitter and CNN favor for example works against my preference for a democrat like Tulsi or Bernie or a decent 3rd party candidate over someone like Hillary. I just don't take the right seriously when they bitch and complain about things like this because they always easily show their ass with their hypocrisy.

Tulsi was black balled because she was against the military industrial complex. That sector of power is the hardest one to crack of all of the established powers. You would think that in this era where so many people are obsessed with id politics, that a young minority woman would at least get some fair coverage by the supposedly "woke" cnn and msnbc. No, it doesn't work like that when you're fucking with too many powerful people's money that depend on us getting involved in all of this bullshit overseas.

they need to ban all that social media shit, too many dumb ass people giving out dumb ass opinions, fuck all that
I'm not saying it needs to be banned but if it went away, it would be a net positive for society. It's mainly bullshit.

Fuck, the only time I converse with people online is on chb and the occasional email.
