I hope this isn't the last WBSS. They've put on some excellent fights but they seem to have struggled to get the big international broadcasters to buy into the series. I think they should change the platform to online only, run it themselves and allow customers from any country to pay by the fight (premium charge) or buy the entire series at a discount.
This isn’t the last series, more to come

I hope there will be more. Kalle seemed to think so in the last interview I heard. The plan is to move the seasons to match a calendar tear.

I would be happy to see a women's weight class included and it would make sense to hold it around lightweight due to the names involved.

Katie Taylor’s not‘
I wouldn't expect her to be from a boxing standpoint, tbh.

Although I've just seen on Boxrec that she's suspended by the NYSAC, which is unusual for the winner isn't it? Is it because of Persoon's appeal maybe?

Don’t know anything about that but don’t the Americans have some unusual rules,or she been associating with Dillian Whyte
This is mentioned as a joke so if anyone wants to sue me crack on

I can't believe all the votes for Taylor. I was not impressed at all in his fight with the limited Baranchyk. I think Prograis is going to walk through him and break him down. Probably stop him in the late rounds.

If you move this over to the WBF, I'm sure it'll be a lot more representative.
Yes. I am sure people aren't underestimating Prograis, I think everyone knows this is tough well-matched bout for both guys.

It's just on a UK board people are likely to know the UK fighter better and want them to win, which will influence their opinion.

I will be honest, I can't confidently predict this, could see any result at this point. Will try find the time to rewatch their past couple of fights and hope I see something that let's me get off the fence and make a prediction.

I'm a big Prograis fan and this is as close to a 50/50 as we're going to see this year. One of those where nobody could confidently pick a winner.

Unless he has a genuine pay dispute or something then this is a real disappointment.

If the WBSS are honouring their commitments then so should he.

Two opponents now that have threatened to pull out before facing Taylor. Must be the possibility of fighting in Scotland.

Kalle said the WBSS contracts are pretty watertight after the last potential pull out, so hopefully this goes ahead.

Eveybody from the first season said the money involved was ridiculous, even if they've scaled it back this season I'm guessing there is still big money there for fighters like Taylor and Prograis.
I reckon Prograis just doesn't fancy the job in Scotland...

A boxer pulling out is bad news 9/10 but with a big potential win for Taylor winning series not going to complain. Please let it be a billy dib style replacement

Cha-Ching mother fookers lol
