fed up with trying to keep in my normal shape during the quarantine. I have my dumbells, but I need to change shit up and pure bodyweight exercises tend to do more to fuck my knee up than anything else.

Long story short; got a nice set of resistance bands/tunes n whatnot. You awesome fuckwits know some good workouts with these?

Bought some resistance bands pre lockdown and they are great. Lot's of vids on Youtube that are worth checking out, just type in what type of thing you are after and loads of good stuff come up.

That's what I'm hoping, man. Got me some pure-workout and some running shoes. Hoping with the bands I get the momentum going forward.

Just buy a 20-24kg kettlebell and a pair of decent weighted dumbbells and your workouts are easy. Seriously, do 100 kettlebell swings per day and you will have gotten a good workout. It is seriously intense. You can train for power or endurance depending on breathing pattern. After a set of kettlebell swings, switch to some dumbbell shoulder presses, then back to swings, then some bent over dumbbell rows, then back to swings, then chest presses If you got a bench, then back to swings. I'm telling you, by the time you've got in 3-4 sets you will be feeling it. I love it. I am trying to get into a routine of going for early morning jogs or sprints, but been lazy recently at getting up so early, so just get up and do the kettlebell and dumbbell workout instead. Also, chuck in some bodyweight exercises and shadow boxing and you're working on cardio even more too.

Or do pull ups, push ups and squats.

Sure, but the workout isn't going to be as intense as with weights. Pull ups are okay if you have the right equipment. Those pull up bars you attach to the door frame are not to my liking. I would prefer a proper pull up bar if I had space.

I brought some at the start of the year which have a capacity of 150lbs (I've added to it since) and I was surprised how good they are. I've only used the exercises on the guide that was included, I'm sure they would be easy to find online .

I've got 2 discs gone in my back, fucked up knees, fucked up ac in my shoulder and many other issues.. So they are actually quite forgiving on my fragile body.

I have kettlebells and a number of dumbells. Gotta switch shit up with the home workout routine. Also noticing that my joints are becoming a bit shit, and free weights are starting to leave me with soreness that isn't muscle soreness.

You're absolutely right. I used to throw iron around about twice a day.

I use weights once or twice a week to add variety but there's no need for weights at all unless you are after the bodybuilder look, in which case fine do all the stuff ITB mentions and more. Otherwise bodyweight will supply all the resistance you need...and intensity!

I have resistance bands. Very similar to the set posted by @It's Too Big.

They are a good addition to your workout routine, and there are lots of youtube videos, and pdfs out there with good routines.

The best thing about them is that they are easy to use and easy to transport. That way you can do some exercise wherever you go.

If you're set on using bands attach them to two posts about 6ft apart from each other and build sets of cable crossovers, rows, curls, punches, and crunches into a circuit. You should be able to get quite big numbers out for most exercises with bands. :good

I didn't have weights at the start of lockdown so I bought some bands from strengthshop, put two hooks in the side of the garage, one low and one high. I can do everything pretty much with bands, Lat pull downs, curls, rows etc, I have proper weights now but still use them for a fair bit, if you swipe across on this vid you can see what I mean.
