It's not much different than stealing shit by some reasoning.

Although I do think there is some moral leeway.

Example:

You buy a TV with a 90 day warranty.

The TV breaks on the 91st day through no fault of your own.

I might be hard pressed not to say "fuck this" and go buy the exact same model and rebox the broken one and return it.

But how about buying a carpet scrubber and immediately returning it after scrubbing all your carpeting?

Or a big even projector that you use once for a outside party and immediately return it?

Buying a professional quality camera for a one time use at a wedding?

Have you done it?...do you feel any moral qualms?

Never done it. I would take something back if its under warranty or during the agreed period. Wouldn't do anything dodgy.
