We'll just have to agree to disagree as everything you have said above is contrary to what is reported on the ground.

Fair enough. :good But not everything I said is incorrect. Rhinos are critically endangered, and if we as a species fuck this up, they are gone forever, so some little-dick asian can pretend to be a stud. I find this to be repugnantly ignorant.

How do you know that he owns the rifle and bought it himself? Plenty of criminals commit crimes using equipment that their gang leaders have furnished them with. Unless you think that this guy had the international contacts to set up the smuggling operation himself, it seems quite reasonable that he was a bottom-level member of an organised international syndicate. Probably the equivalent of a drug mule - who gets caught holding kilos of a drug that he didn't buy and doesn't own.

I do have the cunt on ignore. And Jay put me on his ignore list too.

When I make a post in any thread, in any tone, and then three minutes later there's "Ignored Poster" right underneath it.... what the fuck do you think it is? This boring simpleton whining about me for the millionth time and contributing exactly zero to the thread except bile, is what it is. :patsch

:hat
The irony.

The irony.
I asked you a reasonable question specifically and entirely concerning the argument that you advanced in your post. Without getting abusive or making it personal at all. The first time in how many weeks or months that I've quoted one of your posts?

How do you know that the poacher bought the gun himself? I'm not even saying he didn't, but a gang member using weapons and/or equipment that he didn't buy and doesn't own is hardly a rare thing. Especially when an expensive, specialist tool is required. Is this a possibility in your mind?

“Show ignored content”

Haggis:

Been doing pretty good with ignoring that little gang of retard stalkers lately.

Brent I took off ignore months ago. He's barely around, and when he is then he's an arrogant cunt, but he doesn't constantly shadow me every fucking day and just babble incoherent gibberish about me. If Dale responded to a post of mine that's about the thread topic and his reply is on topic and he just disagrees with me and states where I'm wrong and why, then who gives a shit?

It's a reasonable question that I've asked Brent, who has taken an extremely hardline stance on a specific incident that he knows essentially nothing about. I don't have much sympathy for anybody involved, but I don't see why we should treat this guy using an expensive gun as 100% guaranteed that he bought this gun instead of buying food for his family. It's quite reasonable to ask the question I did, isn't it?

asking questions of people claiming knowledge will continue. it's not reliance and it's weird that you wrote that.
What's weird? It's weird that I'm not willing to dig up references for someone I don't know to force an opinion on them?

I couldn't give a shit what people think about poaching. I've given my opinion and I've based it on stuff I've read and seen in the past, and I'm pretty sure it holds up.

I'd like to think people who were unaware of that side of poaching would in turn go and investigate it a little more for themselves and not rely on others to spoon feed it. I know others on here reference links all the time, but I don't have articles or websites I've visited bookmarked over the years. Do you want me to reference actual national geographic magazines that I read 2 years ago? Or news reports I've seen? Or documentaries I've caught in passing? Nah, you're fine.

I wasn't wanting you to force an opinion on me, we have talked cycling for years and you may well have been behind a desktop and known an interesting link on the issue.

i politely asked a question, i never once said that i do/don't know about poaching, i never once said i wouldn't do my own reading, yet, rather than just say you are not able to give me a link, you're giving it this stupid shit like you are talking to a retard who's just looking to argue, i really don't get it.

I think you might be reading into things a bit too much.

no. those are direct responses to things you wrote.
What?

You said you weren't convinced bybwhat I was saying and asked for a link.

I said it's not up to me to convince anyone, not just you. People should do there own research. In the same post I said I had no link. What more can I do?

just don't be a smarmy cunt, me asking a question is not reliance on you.

if you answered my first post with the statement that you don't have a link to an article and are on your phone, i would have liked it, maybe written that i generally agree with you, and that would have been it.

I just find it funny that I have had her on ignore for years now, and she somehow still thinks I am going to answer her, when the posts are always merely a segue into starting an argument. It's especially funny given her recent caterwauling about people being obsessive about her posts and being argumentative. It is like she totally lacks self-awareness.

Don't be so sensitive.

I did answer that I didn't have a link.
