Shit, I really don't know. Rumors were that Canelo was targeting Smith, Kovalev, or Andrade. I've not seen GGG mentioned in any rumors yet; although, maybe I just wasn't looking in the right place.

As they said on ESPN+, Murata was in the running for a Canelo fight. Makes me wonder if he secured it with this win. I don't think Canelo has an opponent for September yet.
No idea. Saw something saying dazn only approved canelo vs ggg or kovalev.

Ok, that one makes sense. I mean GGG/Canelo: III seems like the likely fight, but as I said, I've not seen any rumors other than the Kovalev one. I think there was also one with Smith. When there is uncertainty, I always think something will be announced out of left field, and I think Murata would be just the choice.

Still, I'm also thinking it's unlikely because it's so close to September (for boxing stars time, that is). I doubt Murata's team would take a fight without significant notice.

Probably worth ignoring until there's an announcement. Big names seem to like announcing fights halfway into training camp.

I still think Murata is a darkhorse. He really impressed me in the second N'Dam fight where he demolished N'Dam. Not sure if he's just a ridiculously weird learner or just doesn't take fights seriously until the rematch. I really don't know, but he somehow improves exponentially after he fights his opponent the first time.

Who knows, though. Brant needs to fight a lot safer in the rematch. He came out swinging from the start, and he was so defensively lax. Just like I said in their second fight about Murata, I'm not sure what Brant can do to change the outcome. Murata read him like a book and just demolished his ass in the second fight.
