This is crazy. Rob Brant isn't a big MW, but damn, Horn's limit would probably be 154.
When asked about what he felt about fighting Brant, Horn responded :

"He is a dangerous opponent and would be a risky fight for me. He is awkward so he is the type that looks bad but is hard to deal with in there. I do think I have the skills to beat him but it might not be pretty." When asked about where he sees weakness in Brant's fighting style, Horn said, "The combos he throws can be hard to deal with but if you time it right he can be hurt." Horn added, "Because he throws lots of punches and leans in. It generates power but overbalances him."

I guess Horn is following in Brook's footsteps. This isn't a monster like GGG, but Brant is very savvy and unorthodox. Also, he might be a little bigger than Horn.

Brant has 9cm height and 6cm in reach.
It's not a huge amount but Brant is the bigger man.

Should be interesting how Horn fairs being the smaller man. He enjoyed being the bigger man a lot at welter.

MIDDLEWEIGHT ROB BRANT FIRMS AS JEFF HORN’S NEXT OPPONENT

Jeff Horn 19-1-1 insists he’s not fazed by the challenge posed by WBA ‘regular’ middleweight champion Rob Brant 25-1.

Negotiations are underway to match Horn with Brant, who has almost four-inches height on Horn.

“He’s certainly a big challenge,” Horn said to the Courier Mail. “Much taller than me and with a career in the middleweight division while I’ve been fighting at welterweight.

“I saw his last fight when Brant stopped Baysangurov and Brant is a very good fighter but I do believe that I have the ability to beat him.

“I’m hoping the deal for the fight can be sorted soon and that it is not too close to when Jo goes into hospital.”
