Sounds like a lovely man, must get a cup of tea in with at some point when he is out.

Surely this means the fight with Barrett is off.. even with him probably only serving half that sentence (if he behaves himself.)

Always thought he came across as bit of a fruit loop but didn't think he had that sort of behavior in him (although we saw with Jamie Cox these allegations are not always true.)

Wonder what this means for the domestic scene at 130?

Bowen v Barrett please Frank!

No mate, prison canteen it is.

Barrett already ducked Bowen, can't see that happening.

He wouldn't be the first man this sort of thing has happened too.

Who knows what to believe.
Exactly. He may be totally guilty or totally innocent. Just like anybody else in this situation. Solicitors tell lies, and the first thing those representing a woman will claim is domestic violence. Of course,if the man is or has been a boxer, amateur or pro,it makes the case against him worse.
But what I can't understand is whenever there is a case of violence, whether against a man or a woman, many fans are easily convinced that the boxer was provoked/didnt do it/was the innocent party. While possibly true in a lot of cases it cannot be true in all. I once knew a man who beat his wife up who had never had any kind of fight in his life. You just wouldn't have believed it of him.
Im rambling a bit. But your last sentence tells it all and sums it up. Who knows what to believe.

Saw him box twice as an amateur live. Best boxer after Brett Beadon I saw box live.

I tipped him to go far on ESB and got laughed at.

You can see a video on YouTube of him sparking Chris Kongo
Brett was classic example of good amateur who never made is a pro.. guy quit boxing at like 22. Proper waste.

You probably wouldn't have thought Henry Castle would try to drown some girl in a puddle until he actually did it either

He looked special when I saw him. He was even touted by Adam Booth who at the time was only handling Haye and Groves.

I am genuinely shocked his pro career went the way that it did. Someone told me they believe all the drastic weight cutting he did in the ams to box at lightweight caught up with him the night he got knocked out by Needham.

Yh i've heard the same from people v close to him.

Never got put down once in the amateurs duting the fencing style days, then goes pro and was getting dropped by journeyman before the needham fight.

It makes you think.

Yeah Rhys Saunders put him on his arse didnt he.

You could see how skillfull he was though, even in the fight with Needham before he got chinned.

I reckon he should of made a comeback at light-middle or something. Proper waste of talent.

Thats the whole idea in a court of law, the threatening mesaages and installing a tracking app are pretty damming.

He sounds like a right possessive weirdo to me.

Agreed mate.

I have it on good authority as well, that not too long ago frank warren was asking Bradley Skeete about him and saying why has he quit? He should rebuild etc.

He does but I just remember what happened to Jamie Cox. Everyone was calling him a woman beater before his conviction got overturned.

If it is true though he must be bit of a sex case.

Yeah Jason McCory apparently offered him another fight but it never happened. Then I heard he went on the piss for 6 months and believes he will never become the fighter he could of become.

Apparently, he resents boxing now and was pissed off at the success of Tommy Martin in particular who he probably would of stopped in the ams.

That came from a former mate of mine though who doesn't have the greatest track record of telling the truth but was very close to him once upon a time.
