On the Eubank card 4 weeks after ironing out Blackledge. Keeping nice and busy which is good to see. Opponent isn't that bad considering the notice either.

Anyone know much about Parker? Amateur career etc?

Good stuff. Would have thought Zach would be snapped up by one kf the big UK promoters though. Looks a talent.

Sauerland isnt a bad place to be for a Super middle though

Yeah great move,I have a mate who trains with him at Errol johnsons and it seems Errol really believes in this lads ability.

He has took him sparring around Europe and maybe that's why the sauerlands got a sniff of him.

Put him on a sauerland undercard v a tough campaigner in blackledge and he passes his trial with flying colours.

Zach Parker's last fight for anyone who missed it like I did. Top quality vid but the sound is in German I think. I imagine like a Teutonic Richie Woodhall commentator was saying Zach needs to stick to working behind that long Jab, double it up etc . and stop lunging in so obviously as counter was there all too often. He got caught bit too much.
Top learning fight for him though against a durable opponent. Bad luck for Zach getting headbutted and cut but all good experience.

Yes he looked good on Saturday. Looked like a puncher against Blacledge but employed a boxing style against that guy. Maybe not a world beater but a good all rounder who might just win a European, especially with that outfit.

I like him, looks a solid fighter.

Him vs Brophy early next year would be a good fight.

Team Fury
A Croatian heavy who won bronze at the Olympics (but deserved to have got the nod over Yoka) and was the sparring partner who cut David Haye in the build up to the first proposed Haye-Fury bout.
That Olympics was a complete farce, Hrgovic vs Joyce would have been a worthy final and Joyce would have won and actually got the nod maybe. Another bit of beneficial corruption for Yoka that went under the radar was when they robbed Nistor against Ishaish in one of the worst ones at that terrible games just got give Yoka an easy quarter. It's hard to tell who out of him and Tischenko deserved their medal less.

Well, the Tishchenko robbery against Levit was simply the worst since Jones Jr, but AIBA didn't have to resort to robbing his future opponents

Hrgovic was the most impressive fighter at Rio for me, not convinced Joyce has world level potential, but maybe Hrgovic does

Would agree with this. Remember Joyce beating Hrgovic over 5 rounds in WBSS a few years ago but Hrgovic improved since then and still young too.

Could not believe how blatant the corruption was at that Olympics!

I've seen it mentioned that Yoka got all the favours and remember watching the final live and thinking Joyce deserved the nod.

But why would they favour Yoka? does he have some contacts or family shit. Or just old fashioned brown envelopes.
