less than nothing. we got damaged and when you take in the indirect costs the profitability is more than lost
You're either ignorant of the facts or being willfully ignorant to suit your agenda.

The whole reason we joined the EU in the first place was for economic reasons. When the EU was first formed we wanted nothing to do with it as they were small and insignificant, but then later on it became clear they were going to surpass us economically, they were on the rise and we with our commonwealth trading partners were in a steady decline. We benefited greatly from the EU as part of a powerful trading block, so we could negotiate from a position of strength and not weakness.

Lol.

My issue is that it's aimed at mouth breathers, and they lap it up. That's one issue.
seriously what’s more offensive than that poster is the twat Varadker and Merkels behaviour. How anyone can approve of the EU demand that Northern Ireland must stay in the customs union ‘forever’!

You're not talking about the EU. You're talking about the EEC. We didn't ever mandate Parliament, let alone a smaller cabal of politicians and civil serpents, to agree to further Treaties which not only changed the entire nature and purpose of the EEC but fundamentally changed the nation's relationship with it.

We've no business being hitched with them, the forced integration is absurd, as all rational folks will concede if they are honest. The lunatics may, for a short period, achieve their dream of "Europeans" behaving like Americans. One nation full of followers of one flag, singers of one anthem, dying in one military and paying tax at state and fed level when they are living.

But not even on continental Europe is there a homogenised culture. And whilst Britain may be located in Europe geographically, it's about as European as America or Australia.

Very much time to go. Had they stayed a trading bloc many would be happy to have continued but Maastricht was a game changer.

But as for that poster, it is embarrassing, shameful and downright shocking.

As St Pippi Mongstocking would say, "How dare you".

I can't fucking believe they did that shit and managed to fail to put a Hitler moustache on Merkunt.

You appear to have listened to briefings from Dominic Cummings and believed them.

You are the kind of moron they're preying on. Bless you child.

were you able to go on about your normal routine today whilst carrying this extreme embarrassment around with you?
Makes me feel better about myself if anything.

Imagine being the kind of mouthbreather who sees that and doesn't feel embarrassed. Imagine....

If Johnson cannot agree a deal, he would have to run an election on a no deal platform.

The electoral choices would be no deal with the conservatives, the profoundly anti democratic 'revoke article 50' of the lib dems or Jeremy Corbyn.

How rubbish a line up of options is that?

Leave EU is an official political group in the UK.

Normal people are embarrassed by stuff like that, the BNP, Tommy Robinson etc - no matter which platform they're spreading their shit on.

You are more bothered by a fucking poster than a foreign leader demand that a part of our country is kept in a customs union ‘forever’. Get a fucking grip.
There is no "foreign leader demand". We can leave with no deal provided we put up a hard border. If national sovereignty is the issue then the Irish are exercising theirs.

I don't see how it's undemocratic when it would literally require a vote in order for it to happen.
