Hmm... I'm guessing they're still trying to secure a venue/TV deal that would facilitate what is going to be a sizeable purse bid.

Good luck Frank.
Or find a venue that allows lions to be brought into it.

Ryan Ford who Yarde was scheduled to fight in Sept 2017 just beat a German Prospect on a show http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/527002

Did Yarde duck Ford knowing he was tougher than originally planned?

Ford is a tough fucker, also a MMA fighter with over 25 fights never KO'ed .

Ford as a boxer has fought twice AWAY in Russia, there's no way he ducked out of that Yarde fight. Since the scheduled Yarde fight he'd gone to UD's with Fedor Chudinov, Sirotkin and Yildrim.

Fair play to Yarde if he actually goes in against Kovalev. But his preparation to date is woeful, no learning fights or tough tests. Surely he should have got involved at European or British level before stepping up to elite level. Kovalev is not like an Anthony Dirrell or Joseph Parker. He has elite skills and punching power to match

Doesn't sound convincing, does it?
That's putting it mildly.

Interviewer: Would you be willing to travel?
Yarde: (Pause) 1:20 of waffling about his belief in God.
Interviewer: So would you travel?
Yarde: (Laughs nervously, long pause) Not answering that. Erm...if it comes to that then that's what happens.

In other words, no absolutely not, despite being the challenger and not the champion, I expect everything my way...oh and of course my manager won't let me actually take this fight anyway, so it's a bit irrelevant.
