The only way I see Formella can win this is that Porter becomes a bit too confident and arrogant and walks into something. Formella is a decent boxer, with slick movements and a decent jab and sneaky hooks, but lacks the power to take him into the top level of the division. I'd rank him as a top level European welter who could challenge for the EBU title down the road, but that's about it.

Formella is tough, but he just can't keep Porter away. Doesn't have the pop, and I don't think he can even attempt to outmuscle Porter in the clinch.

Did Porter fire the co-trainer he had? He brought one in for a while, and he seemed to box more. This is looking like the Shawn Porter that fought Keith Thurman, not the one that fought Ugas.

If you don't have pop or strength, RIP against someone like Porter.
Yep, he'll just maul-rape you all night long.

IDK, but he had trouble making weight for Ugas IIRC, plus Ugas could actually punch.

Round 10 coming up on my stream. Just hoping that when Porter decides to end the fight in rounds 10-11, Formella is protected by the referee and doesn't get badly hurt.
He took a bad beating in round 10. Someone really needs to look out for him.

Formella's trainers should've pulled him out long ago, but Porter looked great. Solid win for a first fight post-COVID-19.

Formella went the distance and was never hurt. Not sure if that was the statement Porter and his team wanted to make. Formella can go back to Germany with his head up. Wouldn't be surprised if he'll be invited back to America soon to serve as a gate keeper for the best American prospects.

He got in the rounds though and was never hurt - that's probably more important given how the sport has been stymied.

1-0 Smith Jr.

Alvarez is playing Russian roulette taking those punches. Smith Jr. is a very strong puncher.
