If we go by "you're as good as your last performance" then Spence would be the obvious choice - He looked good vs Mikey whereas Shawn didn't look that good vs Ugas.

Looking beyond that however we had Spence fighting a considerably smaller guy, and Porter obviously had an off-night.

So I wonder if the Porter that showed up vs Thurman/Danny coukd have any succes vs Spence. IMO he could, but not enough to win more than 6 rounds.

Honestly can’t stand Porter, his style is awful, guy can’t box, but somehow has been ranked top 5 for years.

Errol wouldn’t absolutely school him and hopefully stop him.

His dad is a twat too.

Porter fights like he did against Ugas again, and he's not beating anyone. Porter from the Thurman fight is very close to 50-50 imo. Porter is very strong, will give endless pressure, and will make it an ugly fight.

I don't think Porter beats Spence Jr. because he's been experiencing a radial stylistic change for the worst. He almost blew it against Danny Garcia because he fought like he did against Ugas early. Lost a few rounds because of that. I don't think we'll ever see that Porter again.

I'm not going to lie. I'm not even that excited by this fight. Porter may well be in possession of the WBC title and it'll be good for Spence to take it off him, but my goodness is Porter an awful fighter to watch. His greatest achievement is probably giving the elite guys a tough night's work. That's it. And at best, he'll be able to do that against Spence if he's on absolute top form.

So I'm going by a Spence clear decision in what will probably be a very ugly fight. Though if he pulls off a stoppage -- and it's possible -- that would be a very impressive feat.

I expected Spence to stop Mikey, but he wasn't sophisticated enough to land his power shots. He should should also win this one, but I expected it to go 12 rounds.

Spence wins, but i don't see him stopping Porter since Shawn would likely make it an ugly fight and not give him the opportunity

I'm not sure if that really helps Porter, he usually out dogs his opponents with sheer determination and aggression. Porter for the first time will be meeting an opponent who is just as strong, more powerful, durable, can box to a much higher standard and is more than willing to meet him head on in the centre of the ring. I think this fight looks a bit like the Peterson fight but probably lasts a bit longer. Spence is sadistic between the ropes.

Round and about
Spence to make that statement and be the first to stop Potter.

That's what I want.

I voted Spence decision in a bore fest.

I don't think Porter out-dogs Spence by any sense, but Porter does usually lead with his head and comes in low, so it's gonna make it harder for Spence to get him out of there
