So, Turbo Terry Flanagan - What next? Signs with MTK

Warren done fuck all with him as champion anyway.

His defences were shit against guys like Matthews and Dana. Awful reign and was out of the ring for 14 months at one point.

That's weird if you are a major beltholder
Hes a quiet personality and i dony think he can sell tickets.
Warren did his best with Terry tbf...

And when it finally looked like Flanagan was going to secure a big fight, he dropped his title and moved up...
Is he staying at super lightweight? because he'll never win a World title at that weight, Josh Kelly power.

Can see MTK headlining a show this year with Turbo v Ohara

This interview with Steve Wood is brilliant, letting Turbo and MTK to just "crack on with it" :yep:yep

But you can understand where Steve is coming from,he invested a lot of time and money in Terry Flanagan and brought him through the early days.

If MTK are managing him where does that leave Steve?Steve Maylett and Terry wanted him to stay on in some capacity but MTK would be doing all the matchmaking so youre left as a bit of a spare part.Plus I think Steve has acted with dignity here as theyve clearly gone behind his back to do this deal with MTK.Not criticising its a short career!

Ill tell you what though, there are a lot of people in boxing that would have dug their heels in and probably gone down the tribunals route and tried to stall his career but Steve has just wished Terry the best and moved on even though hes been shit on a bit here.

Proper people who do it for the love of the sport and the best interests of the fighters.

What choice has Steve got, I’m sure MTK can be pretty tough negotiators to say the least
