So when you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Castle Duckula.
I already put F1 driver. I also wanted to be a footballer, I was a capable fullback with little pace or ability until I got to my late teens and worked all day every day on my technique and footballing brain becoming an amateur version of Paul Scholes. At that point, I wanted to be a top level coach. Instead, I had kids and coached one of them.

My family also has a bit of a military background and that played a huge role in my childhood. Joining the Paras and SAS was something I wanted to do. Really glad I didn't.

In all seriousness an Astronaut, something to do with space/science or a professional footballer.

Still part of me wants to be a fireman.
I wanted to be a fire fighter but was told my eyes are too bad. Later on fire fighters i know said that was b.s. and could get me a start if I still wanted. Sometimes i wish my situation would fall through so i could take up the offer!

I used to moderate on a extreme metal forum a few years back. You think this place is full of nutters. ??

When I was a kid I wanted to be a vet because I’m a bit of an animal lover, then I realised a massive part of my job would be putting these animals to sleep. I’d be an emotional wreck.

To this day I think my perfect job would be riot police. Honestly would get up every morning for work with a smile on my face.

Pretty much me down to a tee. Emotionally scarred at the thought of putting down a sick greyhound yet frighteningly enthusiastic at cracking some heads during a riot.

I think I was around 10 or 11 or so when I told my mom I wanted to be Conan the Barbarian when I grew up. She smiled and politely told me, "son, Conan isn't real, he's a make-believe character" to which I replied: "All I want to be is Conan when I grow up, and if you do not listen to me, than to hell with you!"
