Terence Crawford vs. Amir Khan has been confirmed for Madison Square Garden New York on April 20th.

Crawford vs. Khan is on ESPN PPV in the States. It is unclear whether Matchroom Sport will place the fight on Sky Box Office PPV in the UK.

Top Rank Boxing promoter Bob Arum had spoken recently of wanting to have the Crawford vs. Khan fight take place in New York. Arum wants to turn Crawford into a star on the East and West Coast.

Leaves Kell without a dance partner. Perhaps it opens the door for Brook-Horn?

Imagine how few PPV’s this would do in the middle of the night. In his prime in competitive fights his PPV figures were pretty bad so these would be horrendous.

Would imagine it’ll just be on regular Sky Sports

Disagree, I would place Horn above this version of Khan. A 2010/2011 Khan would be Crawford's best opponent, but not in 2019 for me, but we will see on the night.
Khans performance against Sam Vargas is pretty much where he’s at in his career right now, I’ll be very surprised if Crawford doesn’t make light work of him.

Khans speed will give Crawford problems early before he gets knocked out
That seems to be the Khan summed up in a sentence for the best part of the last 6,7,8 years. However in this instance I think Crawford is going to want to make a statement and may choose to remove Khan from his senses before Khans speed becomes an issue. I'll honestly be shocked if Crawford lets this go past 4 rounds.

I find Khan so insufferable these days that I'm actually annoyed that he got this fight. Crawford within four rounds, Khan to look dreadful. Again.
I'm more annoyed that Arum has deemed Khan a suitable opponent, shows how thin Bob's welterweight stable is. I never understood why Tim Bradley stayed with him for so long or why Crawford continues to persist with him. Pacquiao is no longer tied to Arum so their isn't really any reason to stay there.

You're right. I'm 50% annoyed with each of them.

Tim Bradley had the trilogy with Pacquiao and fought and beat Marquez, he made an absolute mint with Bob probably more money than he would have made with any other promotor.

Yeh, that probably wasn't a fantastic example in hindsight, I was always a little bit disappointed with how his career panned out after the Marquez win, would have loved him to twist instead of sticking with Bob.
