TBH I was surprised Khan lasted that long. It's always the same old story with Khan, he causes his opponent trouble for a couple of rounds with his speed, his opponent adjusts and hes stopped shortly thereafter. I agree though with your point about Brooks eye sockets, it's why I ultimately think he gets stopped. Not before putting up a cracking effort though.
My prediction for khan was that he would get stopped in two.

Even so I expected him to be fast and competitive while it lasted and until he got caught...The general consensus amonst the pundits was khan would win the early rounds and then get caught.

But what we saw was Khan fought like an 8 year old in his very first sparring session. No jab, no balance , no speed, no skill, no footwork...rushing forward throwing flailing punches and missing...its like he forgot everything he ever learnt.

So if Brooks on form mentally and physically I think he could hurt and finish Crawford early...Thats my opinion.

If his mind is not there then a possible humiliation would be on the cards.

@Dynamito, Crawford would beat Brooke with ease. If the fight happens and you fancy Brooke, how about a fifty pound bet for charity? Regards Mervyn the Gee

Saw a tweet from Keith Idec saying Arum expressed interest in this. It’s a good fight if they can’t get anyone else for TC. If Spence fights Porter and PAC fights Thurman, can they get Garcia? I doubt Al will allow it.

I dont gamble...for charity or otherwise...last time I gambled was when I was about 11 years old ..on those coin pusher arcade machines they used to have at the fairground.....I learnt my lesson then and made commitment, never to gamble again.

As Bernard Hopkins would say its about discipline once you make a commitment you have to stick with it no exceptions...Thats the esscence of discipline.

@thegee .... I read an article on Bernard Hopkins in a boxing magazine when he was 38 years old. He claimed he had not eaten junk food in years, no burgers, not even a slice of pizza followed a strict diet whether in camp or outside camp...That he only ever took 2 days off after a fight and was always back in the gym on third. Always went to bed early and woke up early. Did his road work everyday..Everything in his life was structured I thought wow..! Then I read an article by John Scully he states they shared a camp together at Stan Hoffmans place in the Catskills...Hopkins went to bed every day at 8pm, always woke up at 4..never watched tv no newspapers ..entire focus was on boxing. One of the other guys in the camp saw how regimented Hopkins was...and said "If this is what it takes to achieve success, then I dont want it..."

Then the question would be this...If Brook and Khan had the mindset and discipline...of a Bernard Hopkins how much further could they have gotten in their respective careers..?

It is embarrassing really, Khan loses, looks terrible and they are still there, pants around their ankles begging for a payday
