The Authentic Official Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya Undefeated, Undisputed Middleweight Champion / General MMA Thread

Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

Also, Khabib isn't RDA.

Kevin Lee seemed to have exhausted himself. Needs to work on his setup for the TD and striking. Patience too. His trainer is decent, but the kid deserves a better camp that trainer cannot take him to the top. Hopefully the young man or someone around him realizes this and he goes to camp somewhere else. Imo, TAM would be a good fit. So would Jackson/Wink (although two different worlds).

Exactly, he's way better.

Khabib made RDA look like an amateur.

Imagine what Khabib would do to Lee.
That's not what I meant, but I guess I forgot Khabib and RDA fought. Good point.

We've never seen Khabib fight someone that just wants the takedown I'm not sure how he'd do with Kevin Lee humping his leg for 10 mins.

Lee is about as raw as they come though I just want him to change camps. Dewey had nothing to offer other than a false sense of security.

Can't remember anything other than him saying "He's getting tired" from what little we saw in between rounds

I remember RDA going for a takedown on Khabib and getting met with a brilliant reversal.

Nobody is beating Khabib by trying to take him down....

And we all know that if Kevin Lee did spend 10 minutes humping his leg then Lee wouldn't be in shape to fight for another 15.....

One thing I'd hate to see is Khabib come out of a tough fight or two only to rematch Conor and get knocked out.

Very pleased for RDA. Huge fan of his and this was a tremendous intelligent performance. All kinds of veteran savvy on display there.

You all have seen the Sage knockout by now... The young man has had a rough career. I don't care to see him fight on let alone get knocked out again. He suffered multiple fractures and the image of his skull shows a fractured eye socket in more than one place along with a broken cheekbone. Terrible. More knockout losses to come if he continues on. I'd hate to see him go out with a few more stoppage losses, but it is what it is.

He has no takedown and seems to wait for the right moment to strike from what I've seen. Also hasn't beaten anyone that is remotely good. I hope he ventures into acting, modeling, and finishes school before thinking about fighting again. He's got an awesome personality, great hair, and a decent mug. He shouldn't be fighting he should be finishing school, acting, or both.

He fought a fantastic kickboxer, and got knocked out. I'm not drawing much from this one.

He has no future in the sport I think he should get out soon.
He's 22 you nutcase, time is on his side. He was pushed far too much far too early and never should have been matched with Cosmo. He needs a good rest and to be brought back slowly but he definitely has a bright future in the sport.

Bright future? how ridiculous that sounds.

No he doesn't. No takedown and all he has is mediocre stand up. Fought a bunch of novices like himself and lost two. Just got the left part of his face smashed in. His future is a handful of losses and being forced out the sport by up and comers and his team.

Bright future would mean a world title. He'll never earn one!

Yeah. I agree more with you on this.

Look, sure he can eek out a career as an MMA fighter, but imo it won't be pretty and he'll never become a legit contender let alone champion. He'll get wrecked every time he steps up outside his level, which isn't very high imo.

There isn't a single facet of his game that I'm overly impressed with.

I had no idea he was fighting, but once I saw his opponent's name I more or less knew who it was. The seconds leading up to the KO looked like Rocky trying to catch a chicken. Sage wasn't ready for a pro striker and got some serious injuries for it.

He's been ktfo twice him fighting on, from the bottom of the ranks, having his face broken, will be a long ass road.

I actually like Sage he seems a nice kid but I don't see him than being anything other than Roger Huerta II. He is a good looking kid who is very marketable but talent wise has got the skills to be a World Champion.

Why fucking bother though?

One decent film will make him money.

Only being 22 essentially just means he's far more likely to get seriously injured if he carries on.

At this point Greg Hardy has a brighter future than he does. He will only go so far.

8 fractures, 9 hours of surgery. No takedown or setups, Boxing, Muay Thai, just spinning shit and counters. They appear to beat the shit outta each other in practice at TAM.

I love the kid, always been a fan, but if he chooses to fight on it shouldn't be for a belt. Fight Tenshin and other big names on his level (BJ Penn for example). He has plenty of money, nice rides, and options. The fire is there, but not the hunger. He's been well off since a kid it's not a high success rate for those who grew up middle class. He'd of been a better Kickboxer than Mixed Martial Artist, but now I don't know if he should even consider Kickboxing.

Sage appears to be well above middle class.
