The Authentic Official Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya Undefeated, Undisputed Middleweight Champion / General MMA Thread

Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

Conor should be able to see how it benefits him to fight a great performing cowboy who lost in a somewhat unusual fashion. Tony fighting the champ only makes sense.
Cerrone has a broken orbital bone. The only person for him to fight now is Justin Gaethje who has a good chance at beating him. If Khabib wins it will be his call Tony or a rematch with Conor. If he fights Conor then it's because the money will be too good.

I genuinely believe Khabib when he says he doesn’t give a single fuck about the money.

Khabib. Khabib about died making weight for one of their scheduled fights. He had to pull out. A picture later surfaced up khabib in a cafe eating tiramisu, and speculation took off about his dieting habits

Khabib.

Khabib fucked up his weight cut for UFC209, so his fight vs Ferguson was called off at the last second. A few days before the fight, he had posted a picture online of him eating at a restaurant with a few members of his team. There was a plate of tiramisu cake on the table in front of him. He denies eating it.

Sad part about the Khabib fight is that there really isn't an outcome that keeps them both where they are. Someone's stock is dropping no matter what combination of performances we get. I will add the exception of some freak accident occurring early in the 1st.

I'd like to see Dustin win. I use to have a copy of Fightville. It be cool to see him stuff takedowns, sweep, reverse Khabib, and ultimately make him gas then tee off on the exhausted and confused champ while standing... I can see it now!

I've become a pretty big Tony Ferguson supporter myself in many ways. Starting liking and noticing him when he beat Kevin Lee and was shocked when he beat RDA. No way does he not get a title shot, but I wish he we're more firm about it in interviews so he's not robbed again of the opportunity. I don't think the fans will let the UFC get away with him not getting the next shot.

I want Conor to fight Justin Gaethje. Not Cowboy who has a broken orbital bone and been in war after war or the loser of Khabib v Dustin who will also be wounded by the spirit and body. No, have him Gaethje who is seemingly easy to strike, but about as pure as a fighter as you can imagine.

In him Conor's confidence, perseverance, and will to win will be tested. The belt has a lot of meaning to the fighters and fans and Conor is undeserving of a shot. If he beats Gaethje and if it makes sense for the belt to be defended against him than do so, but not before Tony. Tony is 35 and proven himself time after time. He's a winner outside of the Octagon and him getting through the personal struggles just to the Octagon again is inspiring and a victory in of itself.
