Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

I genuinely believe Khabib when he says he doesn’t give a single fuck about the money.
I don't think he does either, but thank goodness he has Ali. Someone who does and will look out for him. It took a long time for him to get his shot at the interim belt and to get Conor in the cage. Ali made it happen.

Everyone cares about the money bro.
Khabib is different and I think his Dad and Ali care about the money more than he does.

Can anyone explain how Michael The Menace Johnson was able to beat Tony fair and square, knock Dustin tfo, but never ever make it? I know Khabib owned him, but does anyone also agree that 145 is not his weight class? Josh Emmett is a true featherweight like Max. They move well in fights and Johnson looked like a skinny black version of Chris Leben in his last fight. Just a walking, zombie like punching bag.

Seems as though MJ is from Florida and never left. Colby said he does too much coke. Some fighters have to leave and go far away or to a different camp in order to grow and evolve. He hasn't!! Ever. Henri Hooft is a great trainer, but he's not the one for him. He led Usman to a title because he had the grappling base. So far so good imo. But, MJ already knew how to strike and I don't see him throwing high kicks or even him improving as a striker. I don't see him winning gold at 145 and I think it's too late to evolve and win one at 155. That ship has sailed and it's disappointing because I always liked him :wah

He still wants to fight so if I had any say in it I'd suggest he transition to bare knuckle. He's never been cut that bad and his footwork is very good. He'd be great at bare knuckle imho.

Khabib said Conor hasn't won anything in 3 years except for an amateur boxing match  and doesn't deserve a rematch.

Glad he's telling it like it is. Let Conor fight Gaethje :stir. Justin Gaethje needs a dance partner and the opportunity to climb the ranks. Ali should continue to shame Conor and let him go through Gaethje at the very least in order to get to Khabib. Gaethje could soften Conor up really nice or even beat him. Or maybe get TKO'd in the first because Justin fights like a bull.

Ali wants that check.

Dillon Danis fighting this weekend.

I know nothing of his opponent, but it will be interesting to see if Danis gets pieced up on his feet again, and how quickly he can bring it to the mat.

His stand-up was atrocious on his debut. His ground game was excellent

Seeing Danis get KOed in 40 seconds by a 2-3 scrub would be very, very satisfying.

Nah. He's a troll, but an obvious troll. His jiu jitsu is legit, he's a great addition to MMA.
He makes the sport more fun, combat sports always need guys like him. And it's always cool to see a high-level specialist get in the cage and see if he can force a fight into his skillset. But Danis getting KOed early in his career by a guy who was brought in to be submitted in two minutes, I would enjoy that. That's Danis' role - to annoy the fans so that they tune in hoping to see him get embarrassed. :thumbsup

Have to give them credit, that card is stacked. Cheering hard for Pico to get back on track too, I'm still very much a believer.

He took a crazy tough fight. Not sure it was a good decision, but maybe the Jackson camp have convinced him to mix it up with his wrestling to protect him from big shots, and maybe he's learned to calm down a little.

Danis is a complete fuckwit. Can't wait to see him lose.
Yeah he thinks he's an antihero, but he's just a cunt. He thinks he's being Conor on the way up, but there's no wink-wink with Danis like there was with McGregor. When he was climbing the ranks, Conor had a sense of joy and a sense of humour, like he was taking all of us along for the ride. His trash talk was (mostly) playful, like he was just amusing himself. He had a sense of individual style, and he made people laugh, and made them feel like they were a part of his journey. By contrast, Danis is just an arrogant, unlikeable cunt who just seems like he takes all his social/marketing cues from others who were better at it. Meeting and having a fan interaction with young, hungry Conor in the Holloway/Poirier/Siver era seems like it would have been lots of fun. Meeting Dillon Danis? Yeah, pass. He just comes off as a massively unlikeable cunt. :conf

Yeah hopefully. Don't know if his chin is bad or if he's just crazy reckless and got flattened twice by eating massive shots in the first minute of the fight, before his body had yet realised it was in a fight.

I'll tune in every time he fights, though. He is clearly super dangerous everywhere, his fights are all action, and he's a highly skilled, physically gifted athlete with a ridiculous work ethic and a predatory mindset where he just wants to get in there and tear his opponent apart like he's a fucking wolf. I appreciate that. :thumbsup

I dunno fellas, Danis is a twat, but he is clearly playing that up a lot, and it's working. His jiu jitsu is a thing of beauty. His transition from full guard into a toe hold grab in his debut was pretty fucking slick.

Danis’ jiu jitsu is fucking legit but after seeing his stand up, he’s not ready for a serious run in MMA. He’s after the fame more than anything, imo.

Agreed. Stand up is awful. If I knew something about his upcoming opponent I'd be tempted to get on the guy to win. Keep it standing and I'd have a chance of beating Danis ffs.

Yeah, I’d bet against him if he fought any good striker with half decent TDD. BJJ alone isn’t enough to win belts.

Trash talking wasn´t so stale when Conor did it back then in 2014 or something... Now, it´s kinda tiresome when one more guy does it.
