Over here in the US the political elite haven't learned a thing. They decided they would do everything they can to prevent Trump from being effective after he was able to win the election. They don't realize that all of their BS is simply proving Trump correct about the nature of the political elite & their system and thus driving more people into his camp.

They seem to be incapable of learning.

We voted for Brexit, but there was no details set out before the vote. The vote to remain was a forgone conclusion so the prominent remain politicians made all about personality and sound bites (sound familiar?). There was some attempt at explaining details of both negative and positive effects of Brexit, but they were paid lip service by a media who thought the real story was that Boris Johnson stabbed his former best mate David Cameron in the back and voted leave, thinking it would put him in the Prime ministers job if Brexit won (which it wouldn't).

The whole Brexit referendum wasn't done for the will of the people, it was put into motion by David Cameron. He did it to strengthen his position as the Prime Minster, he thought he'd never lose and 'the will of the people' was something to be used to further his career. Effectively this whole mess came about because of David fucking Cameron's ego.

May hasn't betrayed anyone, because there wasn't anything concrete in place. Cameron didn't have a plan in case we voted leave, he didn't need one because he was always going to win. And if by some complete fluke he lost, then as millionaire who used the British political system as vanity project he could (and did) just fuck off when he didn't get his own way.
Not true and I’m surprised 4 people liked this post.
Cameron held the referendum not for his ego he was clearly under pressure when 4 million votes UKIP and they came top in the Euro elections.
Cameron made clear from 05 onwards he wanted no part of the Euro issue, he had to tackle it due to pressure not his ego.
But you believe this shit if you want to.

And the good news is they have taken their best shots, he's still standing, smirking, trolling and delivering and will roll into a second term. And that's going to be even better. My only regret is he can't take the job for life.

I did read a suggestion the other day that The Hilldog is actually going for it again. I don't believe it. If there is a God, he's never been that kind to me before, so I'm not ready to believe it yet. :rofl
She is the gift that keeps on giving, the political equivalent of genital herpes.

Do you think the DNC leadership could possibly back her? I cannot imagine that they would be so stupid. She has to be carried up short flights of steps now, falls down & breaks bones frequently, has anger management issues that are strange for a politician, looks like and rants like a drunken lunatic in public... the powers that be have to be able to see that the woman is 100% toxic.

I'm sort of past the point of thinking many political parties will actually do the correct, logical, sensible or even downright stabbingly obvious thing to do anymore. We are truly living in a time of global insanity in the west.

In this country we have a civil service's marionette PM, that has pissed in the freshly fucked butthole of democracy by lying for years about its intent and is now blithely committing an act of treason whilst being supported by mostly tame press, most of her own party and even, incredibly, by a significant number of the so-called fucking opposition. :rofl

So, if you are asking me about unimaginable stupidity just not possibly being perpetrated I can't say. Two weeks ago, had you presented me with the possibility of either or both of those scenarios as likely to be coming to fruition, I'd have said it was crazy.

Now, the ways things are, I'm suspecting I'm crazy. I think what's happened is I've actually had a psychotic episode, a total breakdown and am currently in a sort of Dorothy from Wizard of Oz state, lying somewhere, apparently catatonic, but living out a weird, parallel, totally fucked-up dream in which characters from the real world appear but are doing utterly mental things in surreal incarnation.

Bollocks. David Cameron cares about David Cameron, that's why he called the referendum, to strengthen his leadership.

I'm assuming you know that's a parody account though?

Unlike the majority of halfwits responding to the tweet like its real, despite it having " parody" in the Bio of the account.
I'd assume so. It's just further proof that not only is it a fact that that the left and libtards can't meme, they can't do satire or parody beyond lower-sixth end of term current affairs revue either.

I know, they're a complete embarrassment to the internet.

I hear Trumps coming to Scotland on Saturday, think I'll go in to work on Friday with a MAGA hat in support just to annoy every cunt.

 Politically, Trump is the greatest this that has happened to the whole planet in my lifetime. I saw earlier that he was telling Germany they were ruled by Russia because they were going to be sourcing 60% of their energy supplies from them. :rofl And he's quite correct. Germany without Russia playing nice is fucked, so what's with the absurd game of charades being played out by other western politicians that the rest of Europe and the world is being insulted by?

They seem to get upset when the guy says something which is quite blatantly true, like "that shithole is a shithole" or "groupies let you grab them by the pussy".

the problem is he said 70% and thats not true

nor is 60%

they get about 35% of their oil and 60% of their natural gas from russia

in fact germany is a large nuclear power producer as well as a huge producer of energy from renewable sources.............their domestic electricity is about 35% renewable sourced

trump tosses out grenade lies and they stick because alternative facts seem more important than reality today.............

germany,BTW,could well do without russia...............they have the economic clout and trading infrastructure to import from elsewhere..............russia without german investments and energy buys?

more fucked than they already are............

Germany might be able to do without Russia but they sure as fuck don't want to. Assuming your figures are accurate, the logistics and expense of obtaining that 35% of their oil and what is a massive 60% of their gas from other sources would be very significant.

There is a very good reason Germany have been playing nice with Putin but it could get very interesting when Putin and Trump have a chat. There are a lot of cunts across Europe who are shitting bricks about the fact that Trump and Putin won't, as they are dearly hoping, march over to Gorky Park, with their respective attendants in tow, toss their jackets off and brawl on a patch of grass. Their big fear is that the two of them talk peace, trade deals and how they'll fuck those Teutonic and Gallic cocksuckers.

It's absurd. I can't believe there has ever been a time in history when expressing truth and the statement of reality is considered to be so disgusting and so outrageous by so many. We are in truly dangerous times right now.

Free expression is being strangled by legislature and social pressure, which in turn feeds the outrage and encouragement and - they think - the justification to enact more legislation to further restrict free speech and criticism of that which should never be immune from criticism. Which is actually everyone and everything.

And apparently working class people look like pieces of gammon which is supposed to be some cutting insult that they now keep using and seem to think is hilarious:lol:. I've seen people on here using it and even been called a gammon head or something myself. It's just embarrassing:lol:

Regarding the Europe-America gas pipelines dispute,I think we've been here before, with the Trans SIberian pipeline, running though Ukraine that was built in the 80's to allow the Soviet Union to supply gas to western Europe.

Obviously Nord Stream ,which seems to be built for Russia to increase its leverage over Europe by supplying gas directly to Germany and cutting out potentially troublesome transit countries like Estonia,Latvia ,Lithuania, Belarus,Slovakia,Hungary ,Romania,Poland and the Ukraine , will be of interest to the US and these countries will be supporting Trump's position on Nord Stream

The question is will Trump like Reagan be willing to sanction European countries for dealing with USSR /Russia?

"The pipeline project was proposed in 1978 as an export pipeline from Yamburg gas field, but was later changed to the pipeline from Urengoy field, which was already in use. In July 1981, a consortium of German banks, led byDeutsche Bank, and the AKA Ausfuhrkredit GmbH agreed to provide 3.4 billion Deutsche Mark in credits for the compressor stations. Later finance agreements were negotiated with a group of French banks and the Japan Export-Import Bank (JEXIM).
............

The Soviet plans to build the pipeline were strongly opposed by the Reagan administration.Americans were afraid that Western Europe becomes dependent on the Soviet gas supplies, giving an energy leverage to the Soviet Union. Their second concern was that the Soviet Union would use the gas export revenue for the military purposes. In December 1981, the United States implemented sanctions prevented U.S. companies to export oil and gas technologies, necessary for the pipeline construction, to the Soviet Union. In June 1982, these sanction were expanded to cover also subsidiaries of the American companies in Europe.

America's Western European allies refused to boycott the pipeline. The foreign ministers of theEuropean Economic Community called extension of the American sanctions illegal and sent a formal note of protest. From the European perspective, participation in the pipeline project was seen as an opportunity for the depressed steel and engineering industry in Europe and as a way for diversification from the OPEC oil supplies. Therefore Western European governments insisted that contracts already signed between the Soviets and European companies needed to be honored. This led to several European companies being sanctioned by the U.S. Government.Reagan reportedly said: "Well, they can have their damned pipeline. But not with American equipment and not with American technology." The efforts by the U.S. pressure to prevent the construction of the pipeline, and its export embargo of supplies for the pipeline (1980–1984) constituted one of the most severe transatlantic crises of the Cold War"
