Leeds bottled it.

Worst January transfer window ever or at least since Simon Grayson asked for a striker and saw his best players sold instead then him sacked for saying WTF?

We needed 3/4 players. Central defender because we have two in the squad. A striker because Roofe and Bamford are injury prone and not goal scorers. A midfielder with pace and probably another but we found Shackleton in the youth set up.

Instead we buy a keeper. He turns out to be dodgy as fuck constantly fucking up and costing us goals.

We end up playing with one central defender for the end of the season. Our strikers get injured again and stop scoring. We have fuck all decent going forward in midfield since Hernandez died.

Oh and we let one of the top 5 players in the league who looked great all season, carried us the season before and looked a star go out on loan in Saiz.

But at least we bought 30'000 scarves for fans. Joke club.

Leeds are doomed to be in the Championship it seems. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Bielsa fucks off to a PL team or some European side.

Leeds have massively bottled it. Been watching them a fair bit this season and they’ve looked great at times but tonight they were an absolute shambles at the back mostly due to the keeper. Bamford has been shocking the last few games, his contribution tonight was absolutely pathetic I can’t believe he was kept on the pitch till the 87th minute.

They bottled just about every must win big game of the season. Every time they needed a win they lost. January transfer window killed the season too, such a complete fuck up on the club's part. I resigned myself to us not going up then so the loss last night hasn't bothered me apart from that brief glimmer of hope you have to have as a football fan. Bamford's conversion rate has been shocking, think I saw a stat putting him right at the bottom of the pile in the league. The keeper has been costing us bad goals and results quite often, can't believe we stumped for him when several solid keepers were available and we had Bailey 'Peacock' Pharrell already here doing really well bar a couple of blips.

I think we've fucked it completely. As @jonnytightlips says we are destined to stay in the division. Our owner admitted it was this season or bust. To keep going on the solid footing the club is set on we need to sell £10/15m worth of players each year, he isn't prepared to finance signings or the club fully. That means the assets we have that got us up the league need to go like Lewis Cook and Chris Wood did last year Kalvin Phillips and Janssen need to go this summer. The rest of ythe squad are not upto much, Hernandez looks finished at 34.

This season was our chance and they blew it.

Celtic hovering will probably make him more inclined to stay, so thanks Celtic

The relegated premier league teams might be getting rid of managers? Or Leeds' manager?

So fucking embarrassing.

Why is it embarrassing? It's just a sports network desperately trying to fill social media activity with quirky facts and figures and random stats. There is a table based on points per pound to show the best and worst value. Man Utd came bottom and the "champions" were Cardiff. That's not a table saying Liverpool deserved to win, or Liverpool fans claiming it, it's just a random little way of showing data. It's crap. It's pointless, but it's only you and your bizarre obsession with Liverpool who would see it as some embarrassing attempt to claim superiority.

In actual fact, if you were looking at it seriously, you'd say it goes against Liverpool, as long range goals are solo efforts and often hit and hope, which implies the team not creating good, easy chances via good football as much.

Brilliant fuckin footballer and was our best midfielder for a few seasons. I always thought him getting injured the season Leicester won it I think was the nail in the coffin. Delighted for him.
For me, Arsenal were looking like they were putting together something brilliant in the transfer window before they signed Ozil. Cazorla was playing behind the striker and had a fantastic season, they then went for Suarez and missed out, so signed Ozil and ended up pushing Cazorla into a position that didn't suit him. Cazorla in that advanced position was far, far better than Ozil has ever been for Arsenal too.

Had that transfer window gone right for Arsenal and Cazorla was still number 10, playing behind Suarez, they'd have pushed for the title. Missing out on Suarez and then overpaying on a relative flop in Ozil killed the momentum they had been building up, all just to satisfy some fans who were angry that the club still wasn't spending big money.

Really could have been different but I don't think we were ever getting Suarez man. Ozil when he signed was legit one of the best players in the world. He started well and hasn't lived up to his reputation. Cazorla was excellent in the deep lying role too. The bloke was gifted.
