Celtic take 3 points away from home against one of Italy’s best sides to seal qualification from the group stages of the Europa League with 2 games to spare.

Not a half bad effort for a pub side :hey

The goal VAR ruled out earlier for Sheff Utd at Spurs sums up everything that is wrong with this form of VAR.

What's up with this emphasis on the performance of women's football? The media keep repeating the ticket sales, have consistently said its sold out, yet there's 77,000 in there and who knows how many of them are comps given to schools or whatever? I don't care that its not sold out but I don't get this insistence it was, even when it clearly hasn't. The guy on Sky just said "over to a sold out Wembley" and that was the first talking point the last time they went to the game.

It's strange. The media just keep banging on about how popular it is but nobody cares. It doesn't make a difference and its just odd that they're lying about its success, there's a clear agenda to maintain.

More people going to watch the top division women's football too. Not sure on numbers exact, but it has to be above plenty of lower league/none league clubs now. I don't mind the BBC showing a England women's game in front of 77'000 fans, it is better than showing nothing. They even showed a pub team the day before against Carlisle which was great to see.

Don't think the attendances are that great. Those I know are Chelsea get around 4 thousand, Arsenal around 2.

To make it an occasion guess. Neville ain't doing the job. Poor team selection. All glossed over as media despite pretending interested and its important, don't know or care.

I know, but it isn't too far behind the lower league sides compared to what it used to be. Not many women's sports can be compared to men's in terms of quality of sports person, but we still want to see them competing and if 77'000 fans want to turn up to watch them then that is great. And if millions want to tune in on TV that is great. The World Cup was great in the summer. Watching the end of that Eng vs Germany match jus now was far better than watching shite like the cycling that was on earlier. I'd rather watch any football that 99% of the rest of the sport the BBC show.

I was curious about the sales, I noticed on the advert they said it had sold out and I wondered if they'd done a load of give aways or sold quid tickets etc. I noticed the BBC have Really been pushing womens football on their website. That rapina or whatever her name is had been kicking off demanding equal pay Or More for the women's sides
